What did the piston look like? was there a hole in it? When you say it blew what blew? Was his oil res empty when he filled it up? He may want to make sure he didn't have an air leak and burn it down if there was no piston wash.

scuffing completly all the way around. He's not getting himself worked up over it, I took it apart 2 months ago and it's sat ever since...

First sled I put it into, crank went out 1000 miles later. The next sled (friends) blew up 1500 miles later....

What happens when you press the F13 button depends on if you lubricated it Amsoil. Also, depends if you push it in the spring after winterizing with Sea and Snow
