Never Had to work on a SUSUKI engine, notice the high miles, never did a ring job.

Back to the topic:
I think you are SOL Several things you could have done after the shop to cause the problem.

I treat with seafoam and fuel sabilizer, run engine until hot (feel heatexchangers). On two strokes, put oil in spark plug hole, slowly turn over a few times, put more oil in. put plugs in and turn over again. Drain treated high octane fuel out of tanks and put into '87 GN.

I disagree with the heat and humidity aspect on a carb sled (more so heat). The carb is not jetted to run in warm temps and will foul the plugs MUCH quicker! That is why my 2 smokes I never started until late fall when cold outside.

On the last to 2 stokes, I changed the plugs once... at 10,000 plus miles. Only because the sleds had 10,000 plus miles. With the exception of running 7 gallons of diesel in the 800 triple (never let your friend fuel the sleds), never fouled a plug in a Susuki. (by the way, I did burn the diesel through the sled, had to run with the choke on)

Check my stats, I might know a little something. I also solved two problems with the '09 Turbo's that mine was in the shop 4 times to get resolved under warranty. I'm sure my royalty checks will be in the mail soon from Cat. (yea right)

I may have missed a few but these are the ones I remember right now. On all the Pol triples it was a good idea to throw a piston under the hood at night so the motor had something to chew on. They just loved to eat pistons. Been there, done that.

Yeah, I wish I had the Andy back also. At the time I was just a little runt and couldn't get it started by myself so I would go to my neighbor's house and get a high-school age girl to start it for me. Looking back I'm sure she thought I was a real pain in the ***. I had the wheels for it just like in your ad. Way back then I thought I had the world by the tail. How could things possibly get any better??? Thanks for the ad by the way.

Yamaha triple carbs

Must clean the pilot jets. I have had to do this for the last 10 years. It's the small metering jet that the sled idles on. Something about these carbs that they get plugged up over the summer. Once you get the carbs off it takes like 5 min to clean them out.

i spray carb cleaner on mine, then let em sit in carb cleaner overnight than take an air compressor to em the next day then spray carb cleaner again before putting em back together.

You can sync your carbs all day. If they are not completely clean you are wasting your time. I will vote for partially clogged pilot jets on this one. Perhaps the shop that did the original work simply blew them out and neglected to do a good job cleaning the rest of the carbs. Some little pieces of crud remained and re-sucked into the pilots. Yes, 're-sucked' is a real term commonly used when referring to carbs on Yamaha Viper.

Funny, but you forgot your ever so "helpful" 100,000 mile post, or I mean 62,000 mile, or what ever that was, on this thread there smarty pants.

You know, if you came off with just a tid bit of TACT, you could probably EARN a little respect around here.

And since you clearly do not know what it means, I'll provide a little definition for you:

TACT: A keen sense of what to do or say in order to maintain good relations with others or avoid offense

Sorry for the thread jack, rant, or what ever. Over and out.
