There's no 2 factory released High and low elevation option, unless you have it set up at your dealer (which there's no reason to). I've checked 3 summits the last 4 years, and have always followed my friend/neighbors advice (Big John - Sled Head Racing.....Doo specific). If you decide to pick one up, just swap the factory clutch pins / weights from stock to Straightline Performance's Pin Kit......... Very, very simple. Run hollow for out west, (8k >), then swap to the heaviest pin for riding midwest. Secondly....., swap the 19 tooth gear for 21, leave it, and your set. If you invest in those small adjustments upfront, you'll be happy with the stock setup. Might have to adjust the clickers 1 or 2 settings for optimal RPM's at high/low elevation, but that only takes a minute to doo...

and secondly........., it's not true that you only need to adjust the clickers for High vs low elevation... If you don't adjust the pin weight accordingly for high vs low........, you "will" go kapow! while running the high elevation set up in the midwest....

Doospunk is 110% correct on his post. He knows what he's talking about and is fun to ride with too. We should do it again soon, it was a blast riding wth you and Keith in December. I'm trying to get guys together to go up April 19th weekend

FYI- if interested in a low mileage 14 X model 800 E 154, I may be looking to sell. No issues..., just considering a snow check again on a 15. PM if interested.

Hoffman- hope you and Stack had a fun season. Would be fun to ride again next year... The boss suggests I hang it up for the season. I don't blame her. I'm ready for the boat and sand bars ... Till next time....
