I have a 2011 Polaris shift CFI 600 136". I just got it about 2 months ago. Has 240 miles on it. Is there anything I should do before the first ride? List any must do's. Thanks.
Good advice & this is what I mean stay in stock specs & don't get creative at this point use recomended gas & break that sucker in. After you break in other things to consider but not now you need a baseline 1st to know what needs to be improved.Run RN57YCC champions. thats what polaris designed that motor to run with. DO NOT PUT NGKs in
Just curious as to why your saying no NGK's? Is this for the life of the sled or just the break in period. Is this for all 600 CFI's?Run RN57YCC champions. thats what polaris designed that motor to run with. DO NOT PUT NGKs in
Alright, so Fri afternoon I decided to clean garage, anyways fired sled up to move it outside, runs for bout 30 seconds before I move and I noticed it said service on the digital display, called local dealer and mechanic said that its just a warning sayin that its time to grease, change chain case, check track tension and throttle cables. Said it should go out after its ran awhile. If not then I gotta clear it off with the button on the brake side. Does this make sense or does the sled need to be taken in? Thanks.
