These do it all. Push/Pull- Long reach. You have to buy the better quality pliers. The Harbor Freight/Northern tool China made will not hold together while pulling.

I did the same to a big ol (and cheap) long flat bladed screw driver. Took it to my bench grinder made a small v notch in the tip for push applications. Then I made a hook cut into the edge for the pull applications.i cut a notch in a screwdriver it works great

What do you use to remove exhaust springs?
A buddy has a long t handle tool with some slots in it that seems to work pretty well. Is there something better than this? Perhaps some kind of pliers?
