MAC pliers

Product Details
P114SG (P114SG)
5/16X11 LG RCH GRIPPER-RED
Price: $31.99 (USD)

I have had a pair of these for 10 years and they work better than anything I have ever tried. Well worth the money and they work great for pulling fuel lines with the bent/looped end.

T handle makes things quick and painless. But make sure you get one that alows you to push and pull. Not just pull the spring, this really comes in handy. Parts plus $22.

Snap On

Just found out that Snap on is coming out with the same style pliers. I can't find a part # for it yet.

Not real sure of the quality.

I found the Snap On version. It is Blue Point and here are the spec's. I guess I can't recomend these because I have used them. They are inexpensive so one could try them without being out too much.

Yep!!!

I didn't want to point it out because some would say that I am bashing that country like I bash the brands. BTW this is a joking statement and "I don't care who you are That's Funny"

i cut a notch in a screwdriver it works great
I did the same to a big ol (and cheap) long flat bladed screw driver. Took it to my bench grinder made a small v notch in the tip for push applications. Then I made a hook cut into the edge for the pull applications.
Simple & effective & cheap.
