8 grand is not a bad price for that sled. Does it have any warranty left? It's a fair buy for sure. Hope this helps! Kip

I totally agree Kip. I do believe that if most had purchased this sled new in 2013 they would find it hard to let it go for only $8,000. Sounds like a good buy!

Can't speak to the reliability of them myself and there are plenty of posts before me on that topic, but these two stood out regarding price. Here are 2 guys at dealers telling you it's a good buy. I'd put faith in both of these comments so if it's just a price question I'd say go for it.

I'm stuck in the paralysis of analysis. The poo does seem a good deal but I ride a lot by myself and it just seems too likely I'll end up with a long walk home.
So my logical side says buy another 4S but with updated chassis to save my back. My fun side says grab one of those 600 2S. And my wife says just ride the old Viper and take me someplace warm (not happening right now). The Rage went to her new owner today so something is gonna give soon.

One other bit..my 7 yo daughter loves to ride with me. She'll be too big next year to ride on the front. Which of the manufacturers has the best removable two up seat? I don't honk the poo one fits a Rush and I don't see that Yamaha has one except for the new Viper. This seat deal will probably be the deciding factor as to which brand.

dawolf, I hear ya. I'm kinda in same boat. Was considering going back to 2 Stroke but all these threads have me really thinking, especially for the price you pay for these things.

If you want to get away from a sit down sled than a Doo 600 e tec is a good combo, I'd run from a poo 800 trail sled and i'd run from the doo 800 e. Cat has a nice ride and the 800 is good but watch out for clutch issues as it's a serious problem. I believe I would say the poo 600 would be a better choice than a doo 600 cause so many electrical gremlins on doo. I rode some 13 Cats a few weeks back and wow are they a nice ride but them darn clutches. Considering a poo 800 trail sled is a sin.

Whats up with the Cat clutches??? Didn't I see a picture of you on a new Poo 800 a while back somewhere on here????
