What's on everyone's bucket list this season?

What's on your bucket list for this season? Of course snow is on the top of the list but what else are you looking to do such as towns to stay, places to stay, places to eat, places to see, trails to ride on? Each season I like to make an effort to visit towns, restaurants and places of interest that I haven't been to. Here are a few of mine in no particular order;

1. Eat at Blink Bonnies
2. Backpack a couple nights
3. Munising and/or Central UP
4. Ride in central Wi.
5. Take kids to see an Ice Cave or Lake Superior ice.
6. A new waterfall.
7. Stay north of Mercer and cover N Wi into UP.
8. A ride or two around the house.

Have a great season!

Well, Bucket List would assume this is my last season of snowmobiling in the here and now...not sure I want to tempt fate but I'll risk it.

Lots of snow and cold for Wisconsin.
Local riding without the travel time.
Trips to Price and Iron Counties.
No accidents and no breakdowns.
Everyone gets home safe and sound.

Have a great season X2.

Minocqua to Copper Harbor and back 1 day. Would like to do the ice bridge in Mackinaw Island but a few days on that. Will ride anywhere in Wiscosnin and Michigan just hope Wiscosnin has snow since have a house there now. Maybe hit 6000 miles instead of 5000.

Only if I can use my old Tundra, wear my hockey helmet and Refridgerwear snowsuit.

Or option 2, the Elan might be ready by then but it probably won't be. The Phazer is getting a boondocking makeover and the RMK is getting some mods done on it like big air intakes, just today dropped a new Silver/Holly EFI in it and a few other bells and whistles to come.

I am thinking 400 not doing the fastest way I will give a heads up if anyone wants to go

Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor and back is about 204 miles. Minocqua full trip might be closer to 475. Depends on where you stay around Minocqua.

PolarisDan I laughed my head off at your comment. You and Sandylake together for a day would be epic.

Would like to finally get all the kids to the ice caves. Only the oldest 2 have been there.

If the miles you put on don't count towards being a member of the Iron Butt club then I'd be surprised!!! Dang!

475 is about right, I’ve done 20+ trips from Minocqua to Copper and back, just haven’t bothered doing it in a day. 180 from Minocqua to Houghton...and if I remember...60 from Houghton to Copper.

Grab me in Houghton on the way north, I'm good for at least that R/T.
Just kidding, Gonna have to be a mid-week trip, it can be done with smooth trails.

Average 38 MPH and that is 10.5 hours in the saddle for 400 miles, plus 1 hour for food and 1 more hour for gas stops. Might as well call it 12 hours..gonna need a hot tub after.

I want a new HJC with heated shield helmet but they are $280, hopefully a Black Friday deal this year. Ken's had them last year for $169, kicking myself every day since I passed on that.

My Wife and I love this area, skied it when I was younger but now can only do the tram in the summer.
Deepest powder I ever skied and I learned in Tahoe/Sierras. Waist deep.

Have a nice time there friend.

Thanks Bear- Been spending most of my winters in Jackson since 1998. The Tetons are a special place. I too have lived out west snowboarded quite a few resorts and nothing compares to JH. Unfortunately, the billionaires have kicked out the millionaires and time to move south. Have 10.7 acres in Daniel west of Pinedale. Mile from Sherman parking lot. Horse Creek to Blind Bull summit. In the spring building tiny home out of shipping containers. By fall hoping to have 2 set up for friends to stay and donate some labor.
