Every time I go on there, they have like size 5 or 6 available on sale. If you need a 13, forget it. They are good boots tho!

Dave, you seen my boots, I got them at the start of the sale. Just got to keep watching the site. Mine are size 13 fit like 12's. Trukke boots are great and have seen them for around$ 100. Google boots by brand and do the research. Deals don’t always fall in your lap.

Scott I normally go with a snowboarding boot. Go to Joe's or Hoigaard's or wherever and get a mid to entry level boot. They are warm and have good support. I got a pair of Rossingnol boots a couple years back at Joe's for $50. JMO.

Just went to the website. They have three boots on sale for great prices. Sizes 5,6 and 7. I agree that you have to check back all the time but I never found 13's. I got mine on Ebay beacause a guy ordered a size 13 and wore a size 13. RU Outsize runs one size up, or one size small, however you want to phrase it. (I wear 12 shoes).

Check the sales at all the websites. Dennis Kirk, Shadetree, etc.

I think those RU Outside sales are a thing of the past as they longer seem to sell their own branded boots. They did have some great sales about a year ago! I own a pair of boots from them and like them very much.

I am always trying to keep the costs down myself. If I was buying boots right now, I would watch Cabelas and other similar sites for sales on boots with gore-tex. Better yet, if you can stop in a cabelas or gander mountain this time of year, there will be a good chance of some good deals. If your budget is tight like mine, I think it's better to wait for a good deal on something top-notch than to buy something that has lower quality so you have it quicker. IMO at least.

Honda East in Toledo has the Polaris Extreme 3 boots for $107 with shipping. They have the big sizes too. If you don't like polaris they only say it on the bottom and the tongue. I love these boots. I don't sweat too much and they're very warm. Here's the link

I know you said no Klim, but the Adrenaline boots ROCK. I have worn them from -5 to almost 40 this year without issue and couldn't be happier with them. $175 or so though. Worth it!!!

The castle boot at $89 is a real value and a solid boot. I purchased the cheap chokos and they lasted 10 years. They did not have ankle support something I am looking for in my next boot.

I am real happy with my Cabelas Inferno lace up boots, they can be too warm some days though. They were about $100 on sale. Get one size bigger, and use moisture wicking socks, no cotton. I like wearing just liner socks.
