Nash...would be interesting to see who paid the price for that "eller" sign rental! I see no footnote there and someone obviously paid to have that signage posted and leased.

Congratulations, booner, you have (perhaps inadvertently) identified the second suspicious element in this picture: Eller Media Company officially changed its name to Clear Channel Outdoor in 2001. (The first suspicious element in this sign was the fact that the message was in English.)

The picture is in fact a fake, as reported by a local TV station last night. (Although I love the idea!)

Actually I believe that Eller is still going, but has been purchased by Clear Channel Outdoor...who simply owns them.

So it appears that Eller is still on the hook here...maybe a bit of shuck and jive processing???
