Now!!!

Right now is the best time for left overs. Most dealers are at the dealer meetings placing thier order for next year and want the carry overs gone. If they dont sell them in the next month they like to hold them to try to get more money in the fall. Buying a sled in the fall is like buying fireworks on july 3rd. Just pulled the pin on 2010 summit. paid about the same as the guys on craigs list are trying to get for their used ones! Shop around though, there are some dealers that are deusional about what they think their carryovers are worth. I found about an $800 difference on price for mine from dealers within 100 miles of each other.

Look on ebay there has been a few Yamahas on there. I would agree but sometime Yamaha will run that free 4 year warranty. So I think that would account for about $700. I would try Highlands Yamaha in Illlinois to see what they have they usually have good prices.

I have had good results in July have bought a few that way payed all but like 200 bucks and stored it at dealer until late fall waiting for fall promos to come out if they have a good warranty or cash back deal dealer will right it up at that point before you pay your last bit of cash and pick up.I have gotten new 4 yr old cat 700,s for 4400 out the door with 2 yr and 400 in gear cash.and if fall deal is not as good as what is out in July you still keep July deal because you have your cash down.maybe just my dealers but have done at a few

I wish that was true ! We were going to buy 2 new sleds with cash in November/December but deal was not great. When I told the one dealer this would be a straight up cash sale, he said that didn't help them because they get a kickback from the financing and would prefer everyone to finance. Guess we will wait until May/June to find a cash deal. Or, we might end up buying used.

look for carry overs. Cash means nothing to my dealer. They do get extra money if they send to finance Co.

Dealers do want to deal right now so they dont have to carry the cost of the sled for the next 7 months if they dont have to.

Plus you also have to remember the manufactures put rebates on carry overs right now to help the dealers move them before they have to place their order for next year. Every dealer out their right now is sitting down in the next few weeks to order sleds for next year. So you can bet your azz they want the carryovers gone more now than they do in august. By that time they think snow is around the corner and try to hold out for more money. Like i said some people selling used are asking more than what the dealers are trying to get.

Also most dealers if they have a lot of carryovers will negotiate the floor planning on the carryovers with the manufacture so they dont have any interest in the summer. Once they do that they could care less if they sell them in the summer

I just bought a 2010 Poo and got the price I was looking for. If you are set on a Yamaha I just heard the dealer in Duluth, MN ad on the radio and he is moving 2009 Nytro Mtn's for $7499.
