I watched it before bed too. No crazy dreams...at least that I can remember.
Sure was interesting though. She seemed legit, but the story is so twisted, I thought I was watching the intro to a James Bond movie (minus any action shots). Or maybe Austin Powers, with Fauci being Dr Evil. He does seem kind of creepy to me, especially in the footage from the earlier years.
I suspect that the truth is somewhere between her version and a less extreme version.
The only dissapointment is when she agreed that hospitals are getting paid more for any covid patients or treatment. I fact checked this with a snopes type site (https://www.factcheck.org/2020/04/hospital-payments-and-the-covid-19-death-count/ ) and they debunk this. Hospitals are getting paid from medicare, but only fractionally more than they would for other respitory illnesses. Even the senator from MN that started the whole controversy says it is not true. "In an interview with FactCheck.org, however, Jensen said he did not think that hospitals were intentionally misclassifying cases for financial reasons."
No doubt in my mind that this thing has turned into a for-profit/power entity for some. Perhaps it was started for that reason, perhaps not. Either way it's a mess and tragic that so many have died and will in the future, as well as the economic harm.

Well do I have a story for you...
My office manager has a friend who has a friend (I know) who is a retired doctor. An ex-patient contacted him since she didn't want to go to the emergency room and he reminded her he was retired but it sounded like she needed to go to the hospital so she went. Once she arrived they agreed to run the tests as well as the Covid-19 test. Apparently she needed a referral so she informed the hospital what doctor told her to go there. Fast forward a week or so and a check for $13,000 arrives in his mail box. He reached out to whatever agency sent it and they told him...no, keep the check it's yours.
To be honest we don't know all the details but that is the gist of it. We don't have any reason not to believe her friend of many years. How many other checks are being sent out to people who shouldn't be receiving them?? Makes you think...
Yea, I gotta say I have both feet deep into the “I have no idea what to believe anymore” pond. Things just get crazier and crazier every day.

Agreed. I compare this to the Y2k scare but this is much worse with businesses closed and people losing their jobs. Leading up to Y2k I was working for a company that spent untold man hours and probably millions proofing every piece of equipment to ensure it would work, wouldn't fall out of the sky, or blow up at the stroke of midnight. The next day, we were scratching our heads and saying, "what the **** was that?"
I'm an IT guy, and we worked A LOT of hours fixing code to handle Y2K, and most of us laughed at the "world is coming to an end" crap. Yeah, we need to fix the computers to handle the date roll, but the media (Not unlike today) had a lot of peoples shorts in a bundle.....

Good demonstration on how much the power of the media has increased over the last 20 years. Social media and bookface didn't exist in 2000 either. Latest MN numbers 500 dead. 400 of them long term care patients. Not to diminish the loss of life as all the deceased had family and loved ones. But this is not a widespread scourge. Isolate the old and the sick. Let the rest of us proceed.
