Both reminded me of Chicago Pizza, & it's not the pizza, its the sausage flavor. Different parts of the country have different flavors.

Birches Resort in Springstead which is near Mercer, WI.

They have a very nice restaurant/bar there that specializes in homemade pizzas. Can be tough to get in there on Friday and Saturdays and they make each pizza from scratch so its a least a 30+ minute wait to get it. Good idea to call ahead and order your pizza first. But worth it.

I really like the Ambassador restaurant pizza in downtown Houghton, specifically the Tostada taco pizza!! Always eat that twice each visit we get up there!

Coops pizza , Hayward - the only one I get is there garlic and chicken pizza. I live down by chicago and would take this pizza over anyone down here.

Just played at a place in Northern Wisconsin (Arbor Vitae) a 100 feet east of 51 on 70. A place called Heart II Pub and Grub that has awesome pizza! They are not trying to cut every penny on a pizza, big pieces of sausage and real cheezy! A rich sauce and extra oregano.
