Where to buy Citgo Sea and Snow

Not sure what Interceptor oil you have-are you sure it is Interceptor? , because what I used to use was more of a brown/ gold color.

Switched to the Arctic Blue syn-blend and have to say the Polaris exhaust valves are cleaner than they ever were when I ran that other oil.

Oh, and the oil is a cool-looking blue color and at at least half the price of those big name oils.

My neighbors amsoil is a greenish-gold color.

i've run that stuff for years and no problems other than an 01 sport touring 550 blowing up twice due to clogged jets. my 99 indy 500 ran 8000 flawless miles with that stuff. I was running polaris in my xc 700, and the day i took off last year before a stud poked a hole in the heat exchanger last year, i ran outta polaris and had a gallon of arctic blue left so i filled it up with that so i'm actually burning that right now. When i'm done i'll probably switch over to amsoil. I got another q, why is interceptor green? isn't that kind of a bad color to make oil since coolant is green?

Scott??? Years???? Look dude some of us can say decades. lol. Had to rag you a little there young un! Some of us like Crown or Jack and others like Heaven hill or Popov. Life is to short to argue oil. just buy the Amsoil young man and hold your head high.

Does anyone know where I can get Wynn's Snowmobile oil? I used my last can yesterday in the Olympic. I have been running it since 1972, used to buy it at the Holiday up in Eagle River. Over the years I have had less than a half of dozen burndowns with this stuff and I hate to change now.

Deuce, no need to be sorry...this is a form of entertainment...it's a regular event and on a certain demented level, we all look forward to it.

Yep love it. Wynn oil... wow that takes me way back to my youth, I didn't think they even made it anymore. My 1st stickers that I collected back in the early 70's were Wynn oil & Adams Gum hot rod stickers.

Indy... If I had some of those I would share them with you.

As far as the Citgo S & S.... I have my local convenient store manager order me up some cases , it takes about a month to get but easier than driving up to a distributor in Grand Rapids . I just make sure I never run out.

I'm going to " google " that stuff. I think I need a can for my shelf.

I would love for those who think citgo is junk to prove how there sled burned down from an oil related failure.

And quoting before and after compression specs is not how you would prove it. Between me and friends We are probably pushing 20k miles with no oil related failures.

Please somone post direct evidence on how the oil was related to your engine failure!

The less people know about oil it seems the more they are haters!

Let them wast their money on the expensive oil. I have 15,000 miles on my yamaha srx700 motor. I have replaced lower end seals (precautionary). While I was in there I did put a new set of rings in to freshen her back up. You can really tell in the power valve engines if your oil is crap. Sea and Snow is good stuff..... I mean Mystic

Since 1972 I have had one melt down due to carb icing on a 488 fan. Never due to oil. I ride around 4000- 4500 miles per year. Get the good stuff. Cleaning Power Valves is not considered fun. Good Oil = clean valves. worth the extra money. Poo VES is nasty stuff and pricey. Never had a problem with Yamalube (sea and snow) in older non VES sleds. People say it works. Wynn's was hugh into drag racing back in the day. I suspect most of these minor brand names are regional favorites due to distribution. Availability is a driving force on oil choices for many. Such as mystic oil, My local Tractor Supply has always carried that, but never under the Sea and snow name. Marketing and selling the "Sizzle". Example would be Fleece shirt no brand name $15, Add the name "Body Armour" and logo to the same shirt is $55 Both same color, thickness and quality, Both came off same skid sitting side by side. Both from Maylasia or Indonesia Perceived value. I wouldn't work to hard on locating Wynn's oil. Meijer stores have it in the automotive section by me, same aisle as Sea Foam.

We converted you to a believer ????? =:)

No. :) I will not succumb to pier pressure. lol. No......... My neighbor to the right had a heart attack with a stroke at 47, Neighbor kitty corner across the street from me just died from a brain tumor at 62, neighbor next door had a stress related heart attack at 45 and died with his 15 yr. old son standing next to him, Guy who lives beside me on the other side is 32 and has had several blood clots removed from his brain and is now at about a 12 yr. olds level of thinking, My wife (51) was one of those who got the Salmonila poisoning (eggs)this past summer and spent 4 days in the hospital from a blood infection, So with everyone around me dieing or near dieing, I am 50. I figured life is to short to argue oil choice in my sled. Time to move on. Besides who would let anyone in here change their minds on what they believe works for them. not me.
