I'd advise you to not make a decision until you've had a chance to test ride the X-Fire. I think I know which machine you'll be buying.

Nothing like quoting myself. I hate to gloat but I almost called this one.

Congratulations! By all accounts it looks to be an awesome machine.

I'm real interested in that sled. Especially about whether it really feels like a 600 in that chassis, since it took the place of it. If so, that would be a great do almost anything sled, and it's priced a lot lower than the turbo from what I've seen.

Good decision by you based on the fact you have been happy with Cat and you have a dealer you are very happy with. Having a good dealer is very important! Good luck with the new ride!

I really think based on your riding description age etc etc.you may want to take a very close look at the cat f8ext you can prob get a great price on a new non current seeing as it is not available as a 2112 and was a limited market to begin with.the things are plush Handel great steering like turning air and still very responsive. have a 144 1 1/4 track heated seat adjustable bars and seat .I would do some research on a f8ext for sure.
if when I looked in the mirror I did not see a 20 yr old with unbreakable bones and a good back instead of the reality of the 43yr old with a trashed back I would buy one
