White Sleds

I went to the sneak peek in Fargo last week and I liked the white Arctic Cat's. Indy 500 said he didn't like the white tunnel. In 1993 my brother and I bought a wrecked XLT and made a deep snow model out of it. We painted it white, added a 141 inch track, some USI skis, handlebars from a Sport GT, PSI pipes and bolted on some plastic paddles. We thought it turned out pretty nice for 1993.

sweet...Indy just jealous of the kittys......that white tunnel looked great to me

great and dirty :p

It's not that I think it looks absoultly horrible, just seems like a stupid idea to me! Especially for a trail rider. Where I ride, it's not exactly 110% snow.

I actually like the white and purple btw.

when I see a white sled I think of the state highway patrol down here in Ohio lol So I think I'd prefer a colored one as in RED gives me the I don't want a ticket blues lol Have a great day you all to ;)

You guys did a great job!! Looks good in white.

LOL ezra.

I also agree with Indy about the tunnel getting dirty, but I still think it looks awesome and I would buy a white one, it would just be dirty until spring when I cleaned it up for the summer!! LOL

Bearrassler, nice job on that sled. Well put together on the color combo.

White sleds will probably look dirty with riding. So do the other colors. Bare tunnels can get pretty dang dirty. The red snirt in the UP does not help. But I went with the white sled myself. I figure if it looks dirty, that's fine. It just means I have been riding.;)

i also bought a white sled, and my dad has had a white ski doo 1200 for 2 years now. his tunnel is not white, but the rest of it stays fairly clean. i plan on finding some of that clear film they put on new cars where they might get rock chips and wrapping the tunnel, or contact the company that does the wraps on sleds. i think it should hold up pretty good.
