I am having a blast....trails have held up pretty good despite the lack of heavy fresh snow...I have a few minor issues (mostly personal preference things)...but otherwise...this sled just rocks...happy as heck with this Apex XTX...it's fast, handles great...absolutely love the eps..it works as advertised, and really makes this sled a dream on twisty trails....I have been have been averaging between 13.3 to 15.5 in MPG....such a fun sled....too bad I have to work so damn much...or I'd be ridding alot more.

AND yes (dothedoo)...this is the best machine I have owned so far...lol...LOVE IT...again thanks to KIP at Pat's.

Anybody else enjoying their new ride this winter?? APEX XTX 2.jpg

2012 F8, bought it at the end of last season. Three trips, about a 1000 miles so far and really enjoying the sled. No issues, had to play with the suspension but once i got it dialed in for my riding I have no complaints. One last trip March 6th for 5 days, hoping for descent snow. With the limited snow I have nothing but compliments for Minocqua area, trails have been better than i expected.

X2 on the area and south. For what they have had to work with A+.

This year is my 1st NEW sled. Bought a leftover 2012 Polaris Shift IQ 550 fan, last March. Have always rode used sleds prior to this, newest was 6 or so years old before this ride
Love it so far, 1800 miles, 280 last March to get it broke in before summer storage. Would have more miles if I could ride here, have had to trailer to ride. 3 UP trips, 4 day trips to Wi. Barron, and Sawyer county. Love having new sled to ride, however did have major issue. Burnt down motor at 317 miles. Warranty covered repairs, and what I read usually a good motor, once over 1000 miles. In hindsight I should have gotten a 600, did not realize 600 had like 50 more HP. With only 50 cc difference in motor size. Extra HP would come in handy when I get to ride off trail, which I love to do when "legal".
But main reason for new sled was more suspension travel, came from 97 Indy 500, so I am way happy with ride. I had made a suspension lift kit for it, to play in deeper snow with the 20 somethings I ride with from work, on their 2013 and newer sleds. Now that we have 2 sleds I can ride with my 20 year old daughter, before we shared the Indy so either I got to ride, or she did. We never got to go together, so that's really cool too. Just wish we had more snow locally so we could ride more together, she's been unable to get the time off work to road trip.

I'm pushing 3K on my 15 LTX DX Viper and the wife has over 1K on hers. Absolutely no problems at all. Love these sleds!!!! Did a Yoop tour two weeks ago and put on over 1400 miles of perfect trails. Just gas and go baby!!! Would buy again in a heartbeat. Thanks Kip for turning me on to the Viper!!

Yes it is a 4S Steve. Heavy..when compared to yours...for sure. A little longer than my LTX (144? vs. 136") and the Attack has the 4 cyl motor. It's a barnburner right Brian?

Yes it is heavy...it just doesn't feel heavy when driving it...due to the EPS (power steering)...it's really a nice feature, that does mask the weight on the front end...my arms are never sore....and yes...IT FLYS...hammer the throttle...and it pulls like a freight train...right past the century mark, and keeps going...puts a smile on my face everytime I nail it...lol

The more I hear, the more I'll have to consider s 4 stroke. Was dead set against them when they started building them. Nothing but praise for them by the people riding them. Since I don't get off trail as much as I used to, or would like to. Will have to look into 4S when I get my next sled.
