pizza

RJ's in Lindenhurst is pretty good (whenever I go to my brother's house we have it) and Pizza-4-You down in the SW suburbs is awesome. We literally ate it 2x a week when my wife and I were first married. +1 to Aurelio's & Bill's & Pat's

Far north by the wisconsin border-- 173 and Wilmot rd. Bar called KC Cabin has some great homemade pizzas- far west on Randle rd. south of lake in the hills but north of Elgin 90 look for Randle road house, great pizza also, I like the pizza in the suburbs of Chicago better then down town.

Italian Ovens Round lake, Bills Pub Mundelein, Aurellios Homewood, Ron and Pats Antioch, and Orlandos Round Lake. You can't go wrong with any of their deep dish pies!
..Ah Lake County.... Itialian Ovens is great! Went to high school with the owner. Orlando's in Round Lake has a awesome BBQ chicken pizza....And if your riding the chain in Lake County there is this little tavern on the southeast side of Grass Lake called The Mutiny (it's a marina and bar) that has awesome pizza, i dont what cheese they use but it's good.

u beat me to bills pub..didn't think anybody would know it

Bills Pub thin crust, Emil's thin crust both in Mundelein. All the stuff pizza Gino's , UNOs that is tourist pizza IMO. Chicago style is local not a chain, really thin and crispy and cut into squares. I really don't like Lou Malnotis, Lake Effected will say its the best ever, we've had this argument many times. His mom use to FedEx us Lou's at least once a month in college in Colorado, I didn't complain then it was free.

OK.
Going to Elmhurst next weekend for hockey.
Anything good around there. (I don't know where it's at. Just following Mrs. Garmin)

Pretty amazing that this hole in the wall in Mundelein with a lousy parking lot called "Bills Pub" has so many votes. I always knew it was great, but just never expected it to be the hit on a site focused on snowmobiling in the upper Midwest. Guess it also shows the area where a lot of us N.IL'ers have either come from, or still call home today.

I'm only up in the Mundeline area for emergency service calls, always in a hurry to head back south. I'm going to check out bills the next time I'm up that way.
