I know this is a little bass ackwards but I am coming off of a 4 stroke and went with a left over 2010 mxz 600 etec. I hope I am happy with the switch!

My buddy has a Renegade 600 etec and he LOVES the light feel and handling compared to his Nytro. He said we will not be going back to a 4 stroke anytime soon. He is most tempted by the 800 etec.

He's also waiting to see how well his 600 and the new 800's hold up. His 07' 800 PTEK burned down twice within a year, so he is pretty gun shy at the moment with the 2 strokes but feels confident in the 600. i guess well see after this season as he will be in the 7k mile ballpark.

gffdc1045 I'm a Yamaha man but your sled sounds FUN! Tell me more about the 740 Kit?

If it is as fun as it sounds I'm sure you didn't waste your money :)

cobalt 502 the kit is a complete top end plus power valves, injector, pipes, and a clutch kit. It takes the machine from 85 to mid 140s on hp.
I am comcerned about how it will last with the 500 bottom end... but it should be a blast as the sled only weighs about 420 pounds.

New 600etec GSX

Bought the wife a new 600 etec GSX to go with the 600 etec gade I got last year. It will be fun to have a nice short track in the shed to ride the tight trails when a gade is a little long.

I bought my wife a 2010 Polaris IQ-LX 600 with all the bells and whistles. I am sure I put more miles on it last year than she did. I already have a 2006 Polaris Switchback 600 that I just traded/gave to my son for his 2002 Pro-X 440 Fan. He's 6'7" about 220 lbs and I always hated watching him doubled over on that sled and trying to keep up. I myself am 6'5" with many more pounds and know I can't ride it, so I have to move it to get myself something new.
My wife looks at me and thinks I am generous. Not exactly the truth, I saw the new 2011 Switchback Assault 800 and am trying to find one for a "good" price. Talked to my regular dealer but he doesn't have any coming in.
Not what I wanted to hear, but i'll keep looking!

New 2010 Crossfire SnoPro 800 HO. Bought it back in May...waaay too early. Been doing snow dances since. I added the lightweight M seat a couple of weeks ago. Didn't like the factory seat...so if anyone is looking to buy a brand new standard seat, lemme know.
