this close to April 15th well 17th this yr I dont like any thing you call it.
I hope all the politicians enjoy the new 2012 pro climb 800 sp I sent them this April.
I would have liked to give that stimulus to my local dealer who I am sure would have been far more appreciative than say GM or Blackwatter

So really nascar is still behind the times because the people have been useing up to 15% or what could be called E15 blend in gas for a long time. I havent driven a gasser since 2003 but recall the up to 15% ethanol added stickers on the pumps from back then.

I dont think so you better look at those stickers on the pumps again they say max of 10 % and that is bad enough..Lets just keep useing our food to produce it,,so in turn we are burning our food,,driveing transpotation cost up,,driveing food cost up,,and then subsidise ethanol...Hmmm that is part of the reason the economy is in the tank.It does not take a college degree,,brain surgeon,,or rocket science,,to figure that out,,just a little old fashion common sense.

Like i said i dont drive a gasser but i know ive seen the up to 15% stickers.
Heres a good reading link with some data both ways.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...ry-warns-gas-prices-would-rise-89-cents-with/

I dont care what industry you are in to spend 6 billion a year for 34.5 billion saveings by us the consumer is by far the best investment we can make to save money. Go check out stations that sell gas with no ethanol and tell me how much more the gas is per gallon. If ethanol was so bad and exspensive reg gas would be cheaper. You have Oil companys out there makeing Record profits and paying 0 taxes you dont wanna call that a subsidy then dont but what are we the consumer getting in return for provideing 0 taxes? Certainlly isnt 34.5 billon a year saved in fuel cost more like gas today at 3.71 and diesel at 3.95, not a good investment if you ask me. But if i read the article right for evey gallon of ethanol mixed with gas is subsidies .45 cents and i have to assume thats paid to the refinery as there the ones who refine the gas. So who is being subsidiesed? I assume this is where the college degree and brain surgeon's comes into play

I dont buy the food cost increase because of ethanol either. When was the last corn shortage? You might have a claim if just all corn related products have risen but thats just not the case. And a good majority of the higher cost are directlly related to high diesel cost, and who regulates that? Plus ethanol can be made by other sources nowadays.

Is ethanol the awnser IDK If all cars and trucks were electric our electric rates would go up(wait they did allready) If all cars and trucks run on water the water rates would go up(wait they did too) If all cars and trucks run on wind and sunlight they would figuire a way to charge us for that to. So i guess in the meantime we do what were told is best for us just like everything else in life..And piss and moan right and wrong

like I stated above that is exactly why China Baned the production of any grain based fuels in 07/ 08
buy I guess they are just not smart enough to realize the benefits of using food for fuel

A bushel of corn gets a lot better price now than it did just a few years ago, partially because of the increased demand for it from ethanol plants. That in return will definately have an effect on corn related food products. Just my .02
