Very disappointing after the previous two weeks most everyone has had. But you almost knew it was coming, the other shoe always drops at some point. It still is November so we have plenty of time and as we all know it only takes one storm and we are back in business.

Got to let it happen see where we are from thaw. Yep warm here, yep foggy here, yep melt going on but also forcasting 3-6 Monday then cold. So far still plenty of snow on the ground & in the woods + no fear of sleds burning down trails. I'm in wait & see mode.

I started a thread earlier today under Area Conditions. I'm not far from hemi_newman, same thing happening here. Now we will have more water to deal with. Lakes had a great start, now a mess!

Ii is what it is. Just a lot of people I know are not paying attention to weather. Seems like a majority think its a winter wonderland up there still. I think if this rain comes in a bunch of areas will be starting over.

just looked at weather for white pine, 1/2 inch rain tonight (100%), switching over to snow (100%)by 7am tuesday up to 10" of snow by wed. morining. probably around a 1' of snow left on ground right now. Total mess everywhere with this meltdown.

Here in central WI the snow is almost gone. This may be a blessing. We really need lots of cold before the snow to freeze the swamps and wet areas. Groomers don't float, we always need cold before snow. I see the glass half full.

No need to talk about the meltdown now......I had 7 inches of snow in my back yard friday...the rain and warm weather melted almost all of it...it was depressing...HOWEVER....it snowed and got cold yesterday...and I awoke this morning to 5-7 inches in my driveway (hard to get an exact measurement..alot blowing and drifting)....hopefully in the next couple of weeks things freeze up tight.
