What I understood WI businesses are good to go NOW but bars. Milwaukee Politicians are scrambling to try to organize city and surrounding suburbs with shut down restrictions. Just have to see how things play out but encouraging for sure!!!!

Bars are fine to be open as long as your local government dont prohibit it. (Dane county, and looks like Milwaukee county too).
Some bars by me are already open.

Bars open by us in Waukesha County. Can't stop this now, people have been quarantined for 60 days now. God Bless the Wisconsin Supreme Court and their wisdom.

Thanks to the Wisconsin GOP for fighting for us, thanks to all the people that have fought to get this state opened up again. We should never have had to fight this hard for our freedom!

We the People!

It looks like most of the members on this forum are in the minority when it comes to WI opening up. The latest Marquette Poll finds majority still favors Wisconsin's Stay-At-Home restrictions. The silent majority will speak in November.

Marquette probably only polls in the city of Milwaukee, because their polls are always biased towards the liberal view. Also, election 2016 should have taught you not to trust polls. Hillary will win in a landslide! LMAO !

Don't you live in Illinois? Why so concerned about WI and MI?

I love how these useless polls always start out with "the majority of Americans/Wisconsinites support blah blah blah". 5.8 million people in Wisconsin, and they polled 811. So stupid.

I wouldn't read too much into that. There is a large portion of the population that didn't mind having a couple of months of paid vacation. They will be sad to see it end and have to go back to work.

I don’t look at it as a Jinx, I look at it more like reality. I’m not trying to be cynical, but people are going to continue to get sick. It’s just how we deal with it, without being TOLD what we can or can’t do.

ITS ABOUT TIME!!! except.... local government instating their own rules/stay at home, so a win for some but still loss for many in these municipalities. I expect there will be huge push back by the people, will be interesting how this will play out.

Does this mean that since stay at home order has been lifted that you can no longer stay home from work because you can make more money not working...oooops did I say that??? I mean you can stay home from work because you are afraid to go to work, at no penalty to yourself? and no repercussion from your employer?

I've always been a big fan of letting the local or smallest form of government handle most of the rule makings. These folks are held way more accountable and are way more in touch with their constituents. Looks like the stay at home stuff might be going that way, which is OK with me. Probably a lot of folks in the big urban areas that would still like some time to let things sort out.

Here were I live, two cases this whole time. The last was about 3-4 weeks ago. Still no cases in Keweenaw County.

My county here in Wisconsin, Marquette, has had 3 cases. Out of those 3 cases, one death, elderly gentleman with other health issues. The other 2 recovered and are fine. For some reason though, when checking the internet for cases in Marquette county Wi, it says 3 cases. Shouldn't that now say 0 cases? Why would they not change it to 0?

2 "confirmed" cases... but that's good news for you guys! truth is though without mass or mandatory testing we will never know the true number of cases, I still say this is a virus, its not going away, doing such catastrophic and unrecoverable damage to the economy and small businesses was not and still isn't the answer or the solution to eliminating or curbing it, viruses never "go away" now that it is here its here to stay and will likely morph as it continues just as every virus does. I'm glad to see businesses are starting to be allowed to open, the ruls are all over the place, whats good for one is not for the other, will be interesting to see how this plays out and again we are dealing with a virus that isn't going anywhere even with a vaccine.

We need to stop the next stimulus package except for relief to shuttered businesses and the families that own and operate them, put America back to work and let a certain political party know that this isn't a way to further their agenda but a need to save America's small businesses and economy, as the longer this continues the more favorable their promises appear. Put America back to work! Reopen small business! stop the political agenda and start thinking about our people. To keep writing checks doesn't solve a thing except force people to be more reliant on big brother, and without people working big brother cannot afford to keep writing them.

Sup Slim,
Shouldn't have asked.
Someone asked about Tracker 6 months ago and now he has 50% of the posts lately.
I cut back on posting to balance things out a bit..plus I don't know how to post pictures.

I think slim’s comment was about snowblower not posting lately. The HD must have him working around the clock so not time to post. Lol.
