Wife's Sled

Anyone who knows anything about snowmobiles knows that a description means nothing. You have to check them out in person- plain and simple. UP miles, wife's sled. Always funny. I'm a chick- I have an 800 Dragon. I ride harder than most of the men I know. Sold my old 800 with 5K miles on it (all from me). I think the only bonus on the 'chick' sleds is the suspension. We tend to be smaller & lighter. So the suspensions are usually in better shape. However- as most of you noted- many wives are riding hand me downs that have already been beat up on, so even that small bonus goes away.

That's funny snowmonkey =) Last trip we met some guys in the bar at the hotel and were chatting about sleds- I mentioned that I was looking forward to my warranty expiring next year so I can do some upgrades. Dream updates- the whole SLP package... pipe, can, reeds, POWER COMMANDER. The guy at the bar looks at my husband and says- where did you find her??

Actually my wife's sled is a 2004 Ski Doo GSX 500ss. It is just shy of 13,000 miles. I probably rode it 10% of those miles mostly to try it out before switching from my Polaris.

Now she has tried the 2010 E Tec Renegade we bought last spring. She really likes it so now she used it 2 of the 3 days on our last trip. The 3rd day I got to ride it by myself.

My old 05 SD MZX 500ss has 10,000 miles.

I'm just happy she rides.

not here

The "Wife sled" is babied?? LOL Someone should tell mine. Of the 7500 miles on her Z1 Jag, I maybe put on about 40, loading and unloading and warming it up. NO ONE RIDES HER SLED, UNDERSTAND (speech I get), Her sled before was a triple 800.

Why is it that because we are women we can't ride just as good as men? I ride a 700 with a D&D y-pipe and a Bikeman single pipe. Love the snow, love my sled, love to ride!
