Wildlife Refuge Cabins - up for sale

Selling a business is never easy, especially in the U.P. Good luck on the sale, if you got good books and priced accordingly it will move.

Price seems aok if has constant bookings location good too.:)

While I'm sorry for them I can't buy it and move to the UP in the next 6 weeks, I thought the same thing when I first saw the listing a while ago. I'm kind of surprised there are no takers yet, but who knows, there may have been some inquiries going on behind the scenes and I hope things will pan out for Dave and Lori as well as who ever comes along and buys it, just like things seem to be working out for Don and Donna at the Mosquito. Good places will stand the test of time so keep the faith!

Reasonable asking price & property in excellent condition this will sell quickly if the books look good.....just takes 1 offer & done. :)

The big question, are banks in the UP willing to loan money for this type of venture? Seller might need to carry some of the loan.

This first class operation is known as Wild Life "Refuge" Cabins, not "Refuse", definitely not a dump.;) I sort of feel the same as John, that statement could only be a joke, but a pretty poor one
at that.-Mezz

When you look at his occupation, you will understand the comment.

Just checked his profile and see that he has 2 friends here....his occupation must be our bond.

Good luck with the sale. A clean welcoming destination is golden when riding.

with around 125k down U would need to be fully booked for the peek 90 days just to make the mortgage on a 10yr and hope for the best for the rest of the other 275 days to make utilities tax and insurance.
has to be a tough nut to crack those other 275days.
has Wyandotte golf or the Parkview sold yet

The 6 cabins look great. Did I miss the owners residence on that real estate website or ?

On a side note,...why do the UP builders run the scissors trusses out into the overhang like that? I have seen this in several new buildings throughout the yoop....I guess the knowledge of rafter cutting is a lost trade, eh?....LOL
