I was really surprised by this story. I wonder how much is fact or fabrication from the media. If true, kind of a crappy way to treat the Packers on the first day of the draft. I don't think they'll trade him but he may walk away and retire. He has all the money he'll ever need, still in good health, move back to Cali and raise a bunch of kids. Dunno.

I will admit...I'm not a sports fan but...WHO CARES!! only good thing...didn't have to listen to any shootings or stabbings that occur each and every day, in the law abiding good family citizen areas or any vaccination or covid stats on the news this morning so thank you for that. I will however say, on ride into work a.m. 1130 accusing him of being a big baby but they should listen to themselves once. Again...WHO CARES, you'd think god spoke or something.

Who cares......over paid prima Donna. I love hearing him get roasted all over radio this morning.
Even teammates calling him out. Chris Jackie calling him a narcissist.....lol....love it.

I have to say that I am not too much of a sports fan, so I am another that says "who cares"! If there is one thing that we all should have learned from COVID is that there are alot of people that we needed like the "frontline" workers, celebrities and sports people were definitely proven to be not needed.

Rogers is under contract I believe for 2 more years. He can’t just work a deal with another team unless the Pack trade him. I think he wants a boat load of more money and the Pack won’t give it to him. Yes he could sit out a year but he loves to play football and would lose value sitting out. I haven’t seen Jordan Love take a single snap so no idea if he could start in the NFL. Pack management let this whole thing get out of control sit down with Rogers and work things out otherwise only other avenue Rogers has is retirement. Goofy as heck imo. Lol

Not to worry. It is just Erin's time of the month. In a week everything will be just peachy.

I guess I'll be the guy that says the glass is half full. If this IS what it appears to be we'll be seeing a lot of Jordan Love this summer. So we'll find out what we have should Aaron leave.

A couple of other points; it looks like if there's a trade it'll be after June 2nd. It has something to do with the salary cap and dead money.

Although I was skeptical of the story on Thursday, the longer we go without hearing from Rodgers, speaks volumes. If this were fake news I think Aaron would speak up. So far....Crickets!

It’s definitely NOT fake news. Rogers and GB management have reached an ugly impasse Rogers wants more money long term and deserves a raise. No value on management’s side to let this go public unless Love is a HOF QB but no proof of that whatsoever. GB is going to have to pay Rogers what he’s worth or he retires and GB loses their window of a SB. I was feeling GB could win the SB this year and WHAM Rogers says nope I’m out of here. I never saw this coming imo totally mismanaged. Just pay the leagues MVP try and win a SB and worry about QB transition way down the road not now.

The only thing I agree with here is Packer management screwed this up.
I don't feel this has anything to do with money. Rodgers in an intellect maybe to his own fault I think he's looked at his career, the fact he's a once in generation player, the fact they've never drafted a WR early to help him. The NFC championship collapses (not too much of his own fault) in his career. Maybe his weird California, tarot card reading girlfriend is in his ear telling him to "follow" his beliefs and be at peace with your inner self,,, blah blah,, and he's thinking about long about that being the intellect he is.

Make no mistake though last year the Packers MOVING UP in the draft to draft his replacement when he still had 4 years left on his contract (still playing at a high level) when we were a play or two from going to the SB was the final straw. He bites in tongue for a year. Then he goes out wins MVP, and they still don't open their wallets for him. He's like yup,,, F you guys, see how many wins you get a year with Love as your QB. I'm done this mess. Then exactly a year to the day (no coincidence) he tells his agent to drop this bomb on them. You can bash him for being a baby or narcist for feeling this way or whatever you want but this isn't about the money anymore.

Didn't Favre 'retire' at some point to get out of contractual agreements and then come out of retirement? He won't be playing for the Pack any more. Draft day bomb trying to damage them any way he can. Even if he had to sit out a year there would be teams lined up for him even at his age. He is very much in the driver's seat. And he knows it.

I believe he "retired" while under contract but then "un-retired" after the Pack had already committed to Rodgers, essentially forcing a trade.

That is monthly good news for Mr. Aaron Rodgers, he would be under undue financial distress if it was anything different ...ha ha

Spot on. Sorry Pete, I’ve read every article possible and not one says his frustrations are currently because of or can be fixed with a new contract negotiation. The dude is a 100% prima Donna but he’s also IMO a top 3 nfl quarterback of all time... stack a highlight reel of all the other greats and show me better, more intelligent, absolutely insane plays made consistently by any other quarterback other than Patty Mahomes, I’ll wait. At this point even if we got him to stay, he’s not going to play at MVP level again, because why the he11 should he? Some say the 1st pick would decide Rodgers decision. Elijah Moore was sitting there, a speedy smaller deep threat who could also play the slot, the perfect weapon the pack needed, and they grabbed a corner rated to go in the 2-3 round...
