Will the freda loop ever reopen?

It's been over 5 years since the floods with that said will the freda loop ever re-open or is it lost for good??

Sure wish they would get it open. It was a nice trail. It's going to be hard though as I just read they have had more washouts on the Bill Nichols trail. That trail will always take priority over the side loops. I didn't realize they were getting that much rain up that way.

Please understand that there are people working and pushing to get trails open, mother nature has not been kind over the last several years with major washouts as we all know, these people are ready to do the work for you, but always run into the " RED TAPE Mafia" if you know what I mean.
let's stick together and be sure you join at least one club, yes it all makes a difference.

The main Freda trail would not take much to open, we take it on the sxs all the time. Now, the Freda trail to Redridge, that will never get fixed.

Great news, just got back from D’s Base Camp, will be back in 2 weeks for a test burn!

It's gonna be a little messy & thin due to all the work that went into reopening with tree removal etc... but, it's finally back in service, nice to see, it's been 8 years.

Hadn't got the chance to ride it prior to it closing. Was up over the past weekend and saw it was opening. Was one of the first tracks on it Sunday morning. Overall, given everything, it's in good shape. As mezz mentioned, some thin spots, and sticks laying around. There are some wet spots as well. I would imagine with the cold and snow that has occurred since, that a lot of that stuff is now frozen up/covered up.

Here are a couple pictures after going through the biggest wet spots on the southern portion of the trail. You can see the spot in the background on the first picture.

Can you ride up to the old dam, or just need to loop back towards 3 ?

Any word on Trail 13 from Twin Lakes to Greenland re-opening?

There was a guy that posted on the Polaris Ride Command Ap 3 weeks ago that we rode at least part of the starting from Greenland
