Having issues with the brake light and right turn signal on my trailer. I have check the trailer wiring with a battery and everything works as is should. Took all the connections off truck (04 Tahoe) and cleaned them and added some grease. I didn't see any issues with the wiring and no issues with the fuses. What am I missing?

I had a similar problem with a brake/turn light on my trailer and couldn't figure it out. Then I got irritated and smacked it with my hand and it started working. But then it would stop after awhile. Turned out on my particular light it is an LED with diodes in it. It had a loose connection inside the unit. I had to replace the light. Worked fine ever since. Just a thought....
Try and eliminate the "non" culprit for starters. Have you got access to another trailer you can connect the Tahoe up with? Should be able eliminate either the truck or trailer once you do that. I had a similar issue with my 3 place years ago, and it ended up being a grounding issue on the trailer, but in that case it was both brake lights and weak signals.
99.9 % of problems with trailer wiring are ground related. I would backprob a battery positive wire somewhere (ie: running lights) on the trailer, and measure voltage to a clean ground point on the trailer frame. Do this with the engine running. You should measure somewhere around 13-15vdc. Compare this measurement to a reading taken directly at the battery posts with engine running. If you have droped voltage at the trailer, you have a poor connection. Now its a process of elimination to trace down where the poor connection is.
