Turbo viper in the new cat plastic, or new cat 9000 . Your pick green or blue same sled.
Im not saying......but
It does sound somewhat similar to the Yamaha 200HP direct injected 2 stroke outboard engine........ALTHOUGH, that engine is a 6 cylinder...so take it for what its worth.
Im just saying......
The Cat is outta the
It's a pure Yamaha chassis...
Yamaha is not out of the chassis building business and they will not be building any two stroke high performance engines again, the engineers and tooling for that is gone. I know the new sled will not be for everyone but many people are going to like it. Many will judge it by it's cover but know there is much more to it than that! Riding it will be a must
I'm fine with waiting for 2017 release may not be right for me. The riding position in video looks very rider forward & in deep snow so not sure about this sled & it's application?Time will tell, hopefully they will have some type of demo tour, I'm in the dark right now.

Did you watch the second video? Looked like some kind of trail rocket.
True, not the best trail handling but so much potential for major ponies. https://www.facebook.com/SLEDtv/videos/10153334429591860/
I'm a long time Yamaha owner and one of the guys hoping for a new pure Yamaha sled.
But then the other day, I let the wife take the AXYS through an ungroomed mile long access trail so she didn't have to suffer through it on her Apex for the 5th time that day.
As I am lumbering through this whooped out mess of a trail on the Apex, it hits me square in the gourd as I see her and the AXYS tail light dance away in the distance sayin buh-bye!!!.....When has Yamaha ever built a sled that handles crappy trails...??
Maybe this hook up with Cat is it....That's all there is folks!
At this point I think it would take a new chassis that is as fun as the AXYS with the smoothness of an r-motion and at the same time, easy to steer without PS to be accepted as a success....all that with the weight of a 4 stroke mill to work around....I'm starting to think YamaSanta isn't real.
