I'm a long time Yamaha owner and one of the guys hoping for a new pure Yamaha sled.
But then the other day, I let the wife take the AXYS through an ungroomed mile long access trail so she didn't have to suffer through it on her Apex for the 5th time that day.
As I am lumbering through this whooped out mess of a trail on the Apex, it hits me square in the gourd as I see her and the AXYS tail light dance away in the distance sayin buh-bye!!!.....When has Yamaha ever built a sled that handles crappy trails...??
Maybe this hook up with Cat is it....That's all there is folks!
At this point I think it would take a new chassis that is as fun as the AXYS with the smoothness of an r-motion and at the same time, easy to steer without PS to be accepted as a success....all that with the weight of a 4 stroke mill to work around....I'm starting to think YamaSanta isn't real.
