I see Yamaha-branded Klim gear on ebay for quite a bit less than the price that the regular Klim gear goes for...anybody know if the Yamaha logos can be removed? My guess is they cannot.

The Yamaha logos on my mid layer Klim jacket and Klim gloves are embroidered into the fabric.

I've noticed that exact same thing on ebay (that the yamaha gear is much cheaper). Never thought to remove the patches. We need some real advice here from someone that's seen em'! Can it be done?

From what I can tell, it's the same gear but with a Yamaha logo in addition to the Klim logo. It looks like they only offer some of the Klim gear through Yamaha. I'm looking for bibs in particular but what I've seen on ebay is the Klimate bibs and the extreme pants. I don't have anything against Yamaha but I'd prefer the gear without any logos. My assumption is what is on Ebay is last year's model, and Yamaha allows them to discount it. I've never seen anything from Klim discounted online other than off sizes.

I am tight on funds right now for snowmobiling but when I upgrade gear I like to buy stuff I can keep for a long time.

I hear ya, Hoosier! I'm with you on not wanting the Yamaha logos either. I don't care if it's last years model, just want some good gear. If those patches can be removed (as willey said - just voiding the warranty), that works for me. Great idea, thanks for sharing!

o by the way i have that klim Yamaha gear and from what i can tell you could remove the Yamaha logo but it would take some time might be easier to put something over it just my 2 cents

I looked some of the Yami/klim stuff and You would need a ton of time and patience if it can be done at all. Prices on it are great, I suspect it isn't selling to well since Yamaha owners are much more scarce then the other brands (fact, not an intended bash). Just wear the dang stuff with the yamaha logos and be done with it. My Tek vest says BRP on it.

from what I understand the bibs are about 75lbs more and the jacket is over 90lbs more than the non Yammi klim gear but you cant even smell the gore tex in the yammi gear like u can on motofist and non yammi klim stuff.
Really? U like the bibs buy them. are U a fashion model who needs to get all primped and pampered before riding do you take a quick look in the mirror to make sure your outfit matches? do U worry if it is the same color as your buds that day.or do U stand up to pee?
just find a old keep on trucken patch done deal

Damn, Ezra, who pissed in your Wheaties this morning? Anyway, I've had a few tonight, but those logos (assume you are looking @ the Klimate gear) sure don't look like patches to me?! If so, back to my original stance --- Time I have (to remove the logos), cash, not so much.
