This may sound crazy but I'm thinkin I wanna keep this sled as close to stock as possible. I was just questioning some preseason maintanice.

Just the typical 2s stuff. Check plugs, hyfax, carbides, fluid levels, all zerks are greased, clutch belt & spare belt & run 1st tank with oil mix since such low miles

The 900s are not all bad I love mine and it seems to work pretty well lasting longer than my powder special used too.

I'm pulling the girl card - MY ta do list is to wish for snow. Bigdaddy's is a little bit longer. The 13 year old is putting skags on the new to us mountain sled tonight instead of doing his homework. I have my studs that I bought at the Milwaukee sled show and just NOW realized my sled is in White Pine. The pole barn's exterior is done with a gravel floor yet - unheated - how am I gonna get Bigdaddy to pick up my sled for me? What if he makes ME do it???
No major work on any of the sleds tho - just routine maintenance. It's good to be the ASSistant to the mechanic! :)

where do i start. rebuild motor, get big bearing kit and get crank all trued up and that good stuff, new bars, new brakeline, reinforce steering post, swap tracks, new clutch parts. All of my suspension parts are ready to go greased, rebuilt shocks, new bearing in wheels.

speedo on the cat went south at the end of last season, I might look at that.

HWH: You may want to add "Check the shaft bearings" for the Cat. Speedo failure is often a tipoff that bearings are soon to follow.

I just thought of a minor detail to add to my list - Get a trailer to replace the one I sold!

Yea, the 900 is a torque monster for sure! But, every time he rides it, I get to wonder, wth is going to go wrong with it, that I have to fix? He is a famer, so he has no time to fix it. So I do it for him. LOL.
