My wife was 8 months along with both of our kids and still went snowmobiling. My daughter is now 3 months and her doc said she shouldn't try it. Your wife should ask her doctor before you go.

Back in 97 my wife was 5 month into our first child and she rode over 100 miles with no issues.
But I think in the long run it has effected our daughter into the no fear speed demon because of that ride my wife did back then.

My wife rode until it was physically uncomfortable for her to ride. The Doc told her just to drive a little slower and be safe.

One more thing to think about. God forbid she wrecks; you can stay safe and go slow on the trails, but can't predict the unpredictable.

I rode up until I was 28 weeks. Dr told me it was up to me. I had a healthy boy at 35 weeks now he is such a Motorhead :)

Congrats to you and the mrs.

Also congrats to you radsrh!!

My wife rode at about 5 months with our son. Just took it easy. When she was 5 months pregnant with our daughter we went for a 3000 mile motorcycle trip from WI to Colorado and around the mountains. We figured it would be the last time for 18+ yrs that we'd be able to do that. Got back from Colorado and traded the bike in on a new SUV for her. I miss that bike!

Congrats!

As everyone said ask the Dr but I as I sit here today with my little guy turning 2 on Monday I would have to say the risk (we all know she will be careful, but what about the other guy) is not worth it.

Best of luck

1st....ask your doctor if they snowmobile. If not..ask to see a doc that does and then ask the question.

imho..ask the doc...all doc's opinions are different. I would think it would be fine as long as the trails don't have 3 ft bumps and she is hitting them at 50mph.

First off, CONGRATS!!!! I'm pregnant right now, and I still ride. Granted I can't ride like a mad woman, but it's better then not riding at all. I'd just stay on the trails. Boondocking could get a lil dangerous with a bun in the oven. Just be careful. My doc told me to not stop everything I regularly do. Pregnancy isn't a disability. You can still do all the things you did before, but you just have to think twice, and be extra, extra careful. :) Congrats again to the both of you!!! Ride On!
