I absolutely love winter, but I hope it stays south of me.

The yard is almost cleaned up, sleds are going into storage this weekend, the grill is back on the deck. Come on spring summer!!

My other concern is the trees.....last year we had a couple real nice weeks and all the trees started to bloom then we had a hard freeze and it killed a lot of the tree blooms.

The ground is white here and it is snowing pretty good right now. It is suppose to snow all day. I would rather had 60 and sunny but can't do much about it.

Nice ride barleyboy. I just bought a '07 Classic. Started the custom paint today and ordered my Vance and Hines header pipes for true duals. What do you have for muffs and how do you like them. I'm thinking about Rush slip ons with Big City Thunder Monster Baffles.

This is getting ridiculous. They issued a winter storm watch for Wausau north to Vilas county, with anywhere between 4 to 10 inches of wet-heavy snow.

Winter is over Mother Nature, quit messing with us already

Thanks DitchCrusher--I have the Vance & Hines slash cut slip on-don't have the true duals. I really like the look of the Vance & Hines, and the sound is great. Can be mellow if you want it to be, but when I get on it, there's no mistaking I'm coming. They also have the removable baffles, but haven't taken them out up to this point. Really no need.

My buddy has the Rush slip ons on his 08' Street Glide. Definitely a different sound between Rush and V&H. He actually prefers the sound of my V&H over his, but I do like the sound of his (not as much as mine, but they still have a very good throaty sound). All comes down to preference I guess. Before I purchased mine, I would really tune in to bikes, and if I found one that sounded good to me, I'd go check it out, and many times if I was able, I would ask the owner some questions. So if you can, be sure to hear the pipes on other bikes before you purchase. So many different tones, for so many different tastes. Be safe, and enjoy the riding season.

Maybe Lakewoods(Cable WI) will run another 2 4 1 special like last month. But really, the snow totals have been downgraded up here, just like they were all winter.
