pete, seems like you will never concede. Most posts on this site were positive and the 13 page Skylar referenced was more positive than negative, your not gettin it are you. The info we do have says something, you cant just keep ignoring it and says something, just not what you wanna here

Nothing to concede too as I explained still inconclusive to me for lots of good reasons & truely believe MI will morph from here this is not the final outcome & would hope MI DNR & MSA keeps improving safety.

Hey I'm fine with topic disagreement makes life interesting & as I said many posts back in this thread that the discussion will be going on for a long..... long..... long time since 2 states that many ride in same day are are taking very contrasting approaches to the same objective. To me not a MI right & or WI wrong just maybe a better way but both work. To me both states will morp to something else if you can believe it WI wants a bit more signage. Is this wrong proabably not does not bother me just info in & info out keep riding. :)

it's no my fault they are lacking reason. This in not an opinion debate bro. Some things are worth debating nauseatingly. You ever watch CSPAN? It's hard work to figure out and interpret things. I approach the debate with
info, not a personal dislike which is bias. What can you offer to the debate,,seriously?

you are now speaking out of both sides of your mouth and have lost all credibility with me. good night.

As if I give to $h33s about what you think. You spend near 3/4 of your life on this site babbling about this and that. Professional snowmobiler and poster. You speak mostly out of your other mouth and have no credibility with me. At least we feel the same way about each other.

Dnr

here is the DNR statement:

"The changes to the motorized trail signage program is the result of a collaborative process with stakeholder groups and should be a real improvement for trail users," said Ron Olson, chief of the DNR's Parks and Recreation Division. "The sign reductions will result in less clutter along the trails and provide for more consistency statewide."

If you think I made this up I can provide the link for you to read in it's entirety,

If and when you do I will eat crow on this. Msa is not the government and if they want to enjoy scenery and ride then let them have at it. I've read the publications from the dnr and spoke with them personally and have not heard any such thing.

DNR improves trail signage for this season's ORV, snowmobile riders

June 18, 2012
The Department of Natural Resources announced today that snowmobile and off-road vehicle (ORV) trail riders will soon notice a reduction in the types of trail markings along the more than 10,000 miles of Michigan's designated motorized trail system. The DNR implemented these changes to improve safety and provide consistent guidance to the more than 90 non-profit organizations that maintain the trails.
A citizens' advisory workgroup (comprised of trail-riding enthusiasts, trail maintenance organizations, members of the DNR's Snowmobile Advisory Workgroup and the Michigan Snowmobile Association) made recommendations to the DNR, resulting in these upcoming changes. Technical support for the workgroup was provided by recreation and law enforcement staff of the DNR and the U.S. Forest Service.
Changes include the elimination of 10 workgroup-selected snowmobile signs, the addition of five new snowmobile signs (plus guidelines for placement), and a reduction in the size of regulatory signs in the ORV program to make them consistent with snowmobile signage (already implemented in 2011). The changes also include replacing ORV trail markers with new, highly visible, yellow markers. Installation will be phased in over the next several years.

notice the MSA was one of the contributors, I am simply reiterating the points made by studies of other organizations and seeing how it has helped in Canada. Do you see me blurting out none basis statements?

Are you saying you agree with my earlier post?

I've read this before and it agrees with what I stated earlier.
