It all depends on what u want or need.
If you do not need anything, we all need somthing that on sale at haydays, slides, were rods, any grear,
it's on sale there and NO SHIPPING because your there for the party!!
Put a price on being there to see it, as they say PRICELESS!!!

what is up with $570 to $640 for a set of bibs? really I did not see that rack getting any smaller and I was sure to look every time I walked by the klim tent.
and for anyone browsing there phone this am on the grounds .the only place I found selling non current klim stuff was the century power sports tent on main drag close to bully dog truck on dyno. they had some good pricing
climate 245
Keweenaw 310

I am still shocked at the people carrying around stuff all day for 10% of retail .seeing people stand in line buying stuff like 509 replacement lenses for $40 bucks ?
I could not find any more old stock cat gortex boondocker jackets and that sucks. "thanks klim"
still don't know why cat sold those rights away .
lots of bargens on the non current motorfist bibs
best price I saw was 185 at shadetree for the recon

Do you feel the event has gotten full of itself and the vendors think they are all that. Amazing internet shopping ,no dust.
Works for me.

YIKES have to be off your rocker to pay $570 to $640 for a set of klim bibs! What is the point of that pricing?

I am not sure I asked the guy if they had some magic fabric sourced from voodoo priestesses from deep in the rain forest like there 65 dollar underpants . but no just the most advanced riding gear ever produced was the answer I got. I then had to just laugh and shake my head picturing the huge DB that would pay that.
I must also look like some kind of tool. I asked a few venders (xxxmod for 1) what something cost and I was quoted more than what I can buy it for on line full retail.
btw I never pay retail that what dealer accounts are for.

This kinda goes hand in hand with the other thread on where we will be with sledding in 20 years. $2000 for bibs, $1700 for a jacket and $1200 for a helmet. Thats more than I spent on my first new sled in '88.

it is still a great event and I will be back yr after yr. I think it is getting very expensive 15 to park 25 for a 2 day wrist.
if swapping 120 for your spots min any real size rig ez 200 u need to stick to your prices with that kind fee.
vendors are having to pay huge money not leaving a ton of room to wiggle after paying help tent rental generator rental. then u have your suppliers telling u u cant sell for less than X$$.
still pissed about the no green snow cones this yr really was that breaking the bank cat?
btw poo1 I let the poo girls download there map thing in to my phone and got a t and a cap.

hands down best give away I found was a basic red shop rag with mystic printed on it.
used it to wipe sweet off the forehead all day and was getting a bit frantic when I lost it went back and they still had more.

Was there all day yesterday, looked at all the klim places, everybody is the same price.
Talk to a Klim rep he said everybody has to sell at the same price period.
With that said I went to Sled Solutions he's a Der and he gives 20% off, been going to ther booth, I think it's
Paul the last couple years.
I like to give my business to sombody that you can know and trust on what they sell, i know you can
trust Klim but this is were I shop.
Had a good time and yes everything keeps going up in price, just because Polaris bought Klim is not why
ther gear keeps going up. Look around and tell me what has not went up in price, haydays, sleeping at haydays, polaris must own them
too and are getting a cut.
Anyway was a fun time meet some D'ers thanks ezra had a good time, wish I could have stayed and partyed
but had to get home for work.

Once I got there and saw how huge the place was, gave up on any chance of meeting up w/ you guys. LOL! Scored a set of said motorfist bibs (45% off @ Bristow's). They were running 25% off (non-current) Klim. Other odds and ends in the swap, much needed cover for the RMK ($35). All in all, great first time experience, spent too much money, pissed off the wife when I got home --- What are the dates for next year:p
