YIKES have to be off your rocker to pay $570 to $640 for a set of klim bibs! What is the point of that pricing?

I think Klim has taken it too far. I don't know who they think they are marketing to? I thought $300+ was bad enough! I don't think I would spend $600 dollars on a space suit if I was a fricken astronaut!!! Lol!

Picked up an SLP can for $80 guy claimed it was for a stock pipe turns out its not, so that's the only bummer, but also scored a set of white C&A XT extreme Skis with new 10" carbides $160 3 new C&A 10" carbides $20 Fly bar pad $5, RSI camo grip wrap $2, one of PR1's dimple die kits for $5, Polaris dealer banner for 2013, $10, Polaris flag banners $7, a left white powermadd handguard and a right green one brand new $2 (powermadd tent was GIVING stuff away and my left white handguard is busted, worked out great), new low chrome cobra windshield $30, Rox 3.5" riser $30, oil tank filler neck sleeve $15, 41T gear for $10, sway bar for $3, 2 new C&A loops for $10 all in all it's still a great event definatly worth the sore legs the next day. The ski's alone new cost more than what I spent yesterday. We got there early enough and got free parking. If only the food was cheaper inside! Made it thru the entire swap by 11. We strolled thru the vendors but nothing really interested me as its all the same deals as there will be in Milwaukee in which I don't have to walk inside a 100 degree tent with 1 million people inside. Kind of dissapointed I couldn't find a seat but I'm going to order the WRP mountain assault seat. The swap seemed a lot better this year not as much vintage junk. (sorry to you vintage guys but half the vintage junk I used to see wasn't even useable) A guy sold a 2012 M8 for $2500 in the first 5 minutes LOL

I can't see too many differences other than some kind of armor system and a bunch of trademarked features. I can't see the value in that, but you know someone will jump to spend whatever they ask. I was happy last year with my demo motorfist bibs for $100 and my Polaris event jacket for $70. Most money I have tied up was $180 for RU Outside boots that I bought at the novi show about 5 years ago. But I don't ride all that much anyway.

Sounds like you had a game plan. The dimple die will last a life time. Torque no more than 30 inch pounds.

I had a good time as usual. Picked up some vids, couple of shirts. The guy who can afford the New klim Stealth jacket and bibs, is the guy who buys a new 12g sled, and then puts a 4500 dollar turbo on it, timbersled rear skid, timbersled front end, new 3" camo 174. LOL. A 580 dollar jacket is chicken feed to him.

Wait till the Chris Burandt stealth bibs come out. LOL $999.00

Wow, all my klim gear was like the Johnny Cash tune, one piece at a time. Got just about triple of everything and not one item was retail. Glad I got er done before they got strict on pricing.

I didn't make it this year but our club sold a bunch of the raffle tickets for the 4 new sleds that they give away at Hayday's. My brother called me and a ticket that he bought from me was the third drawn. He doesn't know what he won yet because they haven't gotten in touch with the person who's ticket was drawn second. I also sold him a MNUSA calendar last December and he won an Arctic Cat 120 from the calendar.

As for the Klim bibs the price is crazy but back in the early 90's when I was a Polaris dealer we sold a lot of leather bibs and jackets at 500.00 each. One year I think we sold about 50 sets of leather suits.

My wife says sometimes she hears mooooo'ing in the laundry room. She says it's the spirit of Heinrich Gericke. The leather company who made my many many leather Polaris Bibs and jackets back in the day! I will save the herd until leather is "cool" again!

it is more than just staying it is the ability to have a home base to stash goods and get involved with all kinds of dysfunctional behavior.
never hurts to clear out the shop and make a few bucks to make room for all the new junk u buy with the money from the old junk

What track(s) are you selling? I seem to remember you had a couple you were trying to get rid of. Maybe I'm thinking about someone else.
