What is everyone using for 2 stroke oil? I run polaris gold oil in my sleds but am wondering if there's something better to run?

Anything that costs at least 45-65 a gallon, anything cheaper than that will cause a burn down!

Yup, Over a hundred by Tuesday....and the fight will start in 3-2-1

and I almost forgot, Sea & Snow in my Chainsaw and Leaf Blower for my only remaining 2 strokes. Mobil 1 in the sled, Quaker State for everything else. But that's just me...

Do I smell popcorn!?

The OP probably is asking a legit question.

OP: this is a ritual time and time again on this forum about 2 stroke oil.

I run ves gold, amsoil interceptor and dominator. Thinking about running the cheapest stuff I can find because I honestly don't think it matters.

As you can see, if you're not part of the "click" on this forum it's hard to get a straight answer. Most of what you get are inside jokes that the average new guy would not be able to understand. They don't seem to realize there are only so many snowmobile topics to talk about.

I have used sea & snow for in my '05 XC for the last 9 years / 6000 miles with no problems. Valves are cleaner than the first year when I used Polaris oil.

Or just use the search function? I think there is a thread or maybe even 2 about this topic. Just like every other forum on the planet that has anything to do with an engine.

Btw I'm not part of the click. I don't own a Yamaha, I don't off trail in the UP, and I've never had a strudel at Krupps.

Man, I ain't been in "a click" since high school. Sorry if you didn't like my post, but it's what I use. What's wrong with putting a wager down on how many responses there will be to this very opinionated topic? You are helping pad my numbers, so let's hash this out.

So using your logic, there should be a complete ban on any new posts about people stopping in the middle of the trail, littering on the trail, interesting spots to visit while in the U.P.,etc.
