As you can see, if you're not part of the "click" on this forum it's hard to get a straight answer. Most of what you get are inside jokes that the average new guy would not be able to understand. They don't seem to realize there are only so many snowmobile topics to talk about.

I have used sea & snow for in my '05 XC for the last 9 years / 6000 miles with no problems. Valves are cleaner than the first year when I used Polaris oil.

Or just use the search function? I think there is a thread or maybe even 2 about this topic. Just like every other forum on the planet that has anything to do with an engine.
