Just looks like a track and new motor to me, not that impressed. Rails look weak, and was really hoping for a skinnier front end. Depending on price $ package I may get one if I can get something with a chaincase.

Isn't motor and track 3/4 of a sled? I agree on the front end I was hoping they would narrow it at least 4" or more. I am glad that even though they may have taken mass out of the rails, at least they didn't do that funky Rush, Pro S rear end.

I'm guessing it will weigh in at 399 lbs.
Pretty close 408.

.2" does not get me excited, would like to see a 2.8. 15 horse would be nice but I think the days of working on the HO motor are over which is half the fun. We'll wait and see what snowcheck offers bring, maybe more track options in length and lug size. As of now the 15 will stay in my name for next year. I think these new sleds will be rather expensive also. I like to pay for my stuff in cash so $2-3k more (I paid 10,600, i'm guessing the new advertised pro msrp will be 13,999) definitely hurts. Hopefully there'll be more to come around snowcheck time.

Read all about the demo rides over on snowest. Sounds like it should be a good sled. Easy to get under 400lbs just by taking off stock suitcase muffler.

Oh and according to one guy, mountain horse, this is just a teaser. More new stuff March 2.

$10,600 for 15 snowcheck? $1,000 golden ticket? 3 year warranty? Piggy Back Shocks?

if they did not change muffler not much to lose weight with a can on the pro rmk they have to be the lightest oem mufflers out.
and cat wins for the heaviest most bulky can out but hey at least they have a jacket so they don't get to chilly.

Yeah, apparently it was changed to meet new sound regs. I guess it's 17lbs.

I should have posted this on this thread instead of starting one this morning. I thought there was one ongoing, but didn't see it when I saw Polaris ad posted on you tube.

Default Polaris 2016 RMK
Polaris just posted video ad on youtube for new RMK 408 lbs. AXYS platform. With the HO 800 lightweight crank motor. Tweaked the suspension, but not that funky Rush, Pro S design. Still a basic old school full tunnel, rear suspension. Hope they kept tunnel cooler. Instead of that radiator on front of the Rush type sleds, always though that was bad engineering. DJ bashed in the fins on his 800 within 3, 4 hours 1st ride.
