One of the first to do it with the 1200 was Greg Bennett, his first trip to the dyno he was pushing 430 HP with back in 09, using a 66 Aerocharger at just 22 lbs of boost way back in 09 with some antique fuel delivery stuff and keeping the RPM's below 8500 on a stock unopened 1200 engine. That was back before he started using better components and raising the RPM up! He frequently pushed it over 540 HP on that stock engine!
I have been involved with a CAT and a YAMI this same way...and I can tell you this....they were both NO WAY STOCK AT ALL....the engines had the cranks welded and blue printed and balanced...and titanium rods and all sorts of beefier insides...and even those were blowing on the dyno...get a new motor and change the boost...and the YAMI needed crank welded and stuff WAY BEFORE the CAT needed anything outta stock...and out west...all the guys I know running YAMI had to add at the very least about 11,000 grand to theirs sleds just to keep up with a cat turbo...stock....ya....sure
