Snowmobile Insurance

Just bought a '15 AC snopro with the 4 stroke motor. Went with my AmFam agent: $298/year. Got quotes anywhere from that up to $700/yr. Pays to shop around. Interestingly it seems that the only criteria that the rate is based on is engine CCs which puts us 4stroke guys at a disadvantage. It should be based on HP rating.

I have full coverage with my Nationwide plan on a '15 AC XF6000, $276 per year, but pay it monthly at no extra charge

Just checked with my agent, I can just add it to my homeowners for $147 for the year. Also, I can start it when the snow flys and cancel it in the Spring. So the net cost is about $50 for the season. 600 etec

Megan600, I have a 20015 800 switchback. I'm paying $175 through Bois Agency in Flushing, however it's bundled with my home ins.

Just a heads up a lot of homeowners policy's don't like to cover sleds over 600cc very cheap. Adding my 800 Pro RMK to meither mine, or my parents homeowners policy's were even close to what I pay through State Farm simply put because it's an 800. 599 and under? Dirt cheap on both policies...

I used West Bend forever with my mountain sleds and never had an issue. I added my 2016 M8000 and now I'm told it isn't covered out west. Maybe this has always been the case but this is the first I'm hearing about it.

I use them too.

Like $35 a month for a $500 collision deductible.

American Family, +/-$100 per year each for my six 2006 to 2008's.

That's probably liability. You aren't getting full coverage on anything for under $200 a year.

I was paying $45 a year on my 6-8 year old 600cc sleds under my parents homeowners policy...

My agent and I discussed going to liability because the sleds probably only average $3,500 each but if I balled up the whole thing pulling um down the road I'd be out $21,000 so I opted to keep full coverage.
