… It does also take a good mix of footage! Here is an example of an edit I did this year. I bet most do not watch it until the end as most POV footage can get a bit boring to watch unless it's your own

.
When you are working on your edits remember that
people want to watch the short exciting things then move on to the next[SUP]1[/SUP].The emotion you get when watching your own footage is not the same that everybody else does since they were not there! Remember that taking shorter video clips makes editing your footage much easier! …
Amen to that! I couldn't agree more! And the current nose-in-the-cell-phone texting-all-day generation and "Twitter users" even more so!

P.S.:
"I bet most do not watch it until the end …":
I actually
did watch the full 4 min + 48 sec. of your video, tho' I had to resist hitting the kill switch about three times.
I can almost understand how one of your fellow sled jockeys[SUP]1[/SUP] might be interested. Except for the bits where one of the other riders was not so much
riding, as kicking the sled along like a sidewalk
"sk8er boi". Where's the fun in that? I also find the rider's[SUP]2[/SUP] POV to be less interesting than the scenes showing other riders. The latter just gives the scene a bit wider, more varied and interesting scope.
I could almost imagine the enhanced interest that could be had from the use of an
intelligent drone camera tracking you. (There already are drone cameras with a "follow me" mode.) Of course such an an
intelligent drone would have a helluva time following you through all of the narrow, very tight spots in "da bush", with the branches whacking yer helmet along the way. (That itself is a navigational concept that also doesn't quite equate with "fun" fer me.)
[SUP]1[/SUP] "jockeys" (Note to all: there's no apostrophe there 'cuz it's a plural form, not a possessive!)
[SUP]2[/SUP] "rider's" (Note to all: there is an apostrophe there 'cuz it really is a possessive!)
