So me an my girl ride into a pub for a a warm up and lunch when we come out about 30 sleds are parked around me and unable to get out so i picked up the back end of a few sleds and moved them to to side a bit , to make a path to get out. and then i moved them back as im moving out of my spot. 3 guys come out and want to start a fight and stated your not allowed to touch sleds. and wont move there sleds and said tuff just wait till everyone leaves. if it takes 3 hours your going to wait. . have you ever ran into this or was i wrong or where they just trouble

I wouldn't have moved them back once you got your sleds out. If they're inconsiderate enough to block you in fair game to move them. People suck.

I have had to move a sled before just like you did. I did not move it back either. I don't think there is anything wrong with that if you have no other options to get out.

One can only wonder their age and where they are from. Probably the same folks who cant stay on the trail or block peoples drivway with their rig.

I would not have moved their sleds back, but you had the right to do as you did. Seems as these Low Life A------- were wanting you to do what you did. And perhaps in hopes of a confrontation of some kind, with who ever you were. Genuinely displaying what kind of LOW LIFE people they really are. Sadly this kind of arrogance/attitude, is what gives a false representation of snowmobilers, as being a bad group of people.

These are the type of people you don't want in the sport. You had every right to move their sleds to get out.

I'll agree with everyone else's comments that you were not doing anything wrong --- As long as you were not parked like a jack a$s. Seems like they were trying to make a point. That or they were just being jerks in general. In which case you really had no choice. And for them to say you can wait until they move is total BS. I get guys getting defensive when you touch "their" sled. I don't want anyone touching my stuff either. But again, assuming that you were not parked stupid, then they needed to either move the sleds or allow you to so you could get out.

this happened in upper Wisconsin Saint Germain area. Im also a FIB , im 53 and i would say they were mid 20's. it all started with when we pulled up and my girl was getting off the sled 1 foot on the ground and
the guy just missed hitting her. as i walked by i did say that was a **** move you almost hit her. Me an my girl continued to walk into the pub and had dinner , My girl noticed the 1 guy that almost hit her walked over to the helmet rack and did something but didnt know what , as she put her helmet on we seen he kicked the shield in an broke the mounting tab on the left side but it still closed. didnt think much about it an could not prove it . so as my sled is warming up the first guy that almost hit her and his two friends start with the dont move the sleds stuff and attempt to get me to engage them , They kept with you called my friend a name and i stated multiple times i said it was his actions and did not call him a name.. then i turned off the sled told my girl lets go back in the pub it was -28 out, they then stated no one is going back in . so again they are pressing me into a fight. then the 1 friend points at the plow banks about 12 foot high and goes thats you way out. . i said this is a gade 1200 its never going over that. well i made it up and down and took the sled down like a sub and was buried over the bars in snow. they all laughed an new i was really screwed, so i attempted to dig it out , all the time watching i dont get jumped. then finally the first guy that almost hit her said now look you need my help . i said yes i do and we would not be here doing this is you just let me leave. the good thing he did help pull on the ski loop while i walked it out on the running board. they then all walked away. my girl walked around and got back on the seat and i look for my gloves well you guessed it . they took them. so i tried to ride a few blocks and my hands are in poor shape i put them under the exhaust to get them back to temp and tried to ride again with with no luck . the pain was too much. then i remembered in my trunk i had a back up pair of thin gloves and that got me back the 45 min ride back to the room. . i must say ive been riding for 20 years and never had this ever happen and has really made me think, should you ride with a concealed carry for a case like this but no matter what that could of made matters worse. I know i will see them all again since they ride in the same area and i can tell this is not done on either side .

I would have called the law, and started the video. Destroying a helmet shield, and stealing your gloves is the sign of a non adult person. What a bunch of cowardly jerks as to pick on one guy, as having a woman with him!

I admire your calm in this situation. No way I could have handled it like that. Too many from that age group were taught by mommy that THEY are the center of the universe.

Nah...don't carry a gun.....carry sugar.

What bar was this? Could it be possible there's security camera footage of this transgression?

EEEEERRRRR i hate stupid **** like this. It does not matter if you where on sleds, quads, motorcycle or in your car at a restaurant in any city. They had you out numbered and no idea if they had any weapons on them or if they would fallow you! This kind of behavior starts at HOME at a younger age and the adults at home need to put an end to this kind of crap (yes I am a parent of two young kids). No one is better then the person next to you, you treat everyone with the same respect that you want to be treated with. I agree with what everyone else has said YOU DID NOTHING WRONG, I would have also moved the sleds and no I would not have moved them back. Hopefully this encounter does not turn you off from helping the next person that you come across that might need a hand from from you. It does not matter what town or establishment this was (yes I understand the security camera thought) as its a really good chance that these *** wipes where from out of town, and oftentimes they feel like they are entitled since they are spending their money.
