Sounds like you experienced a classic case of gang mentality. As I get older I can fully understand why people that work at pit stops dislike some snowmobiler's. Some of these larger groups of guys act like they only get away from their significant others every few years....

I would have bought them shots for a hour or so and made sure cops were waiting when they drove off

I don't know how you kept your cool. Good job for you. My husband and I would have gotten ugly. There was no reason for what they did except sheer entitlement. You did nothing wrong.

This is done stay away from these *** wipes. You did nothing wrong and took the high road so keep it that way. Most snowmobilers are great people give you the shirt off their backs help you out on the trail. These guys are exceptions bad people avoid them. You’re out there to have fun not get into fights over nothing.

I to would have tried to kick one or more of there sorry azzes hard to do with yer galfriend there and all, and no back up. But behavior such as that is hard to take.

If I blocked you in and u moved my sled I could care less. If anything I owe u a cold one and a apology. These d bags were looking for a fight, not worth it. Who knows who’s packing and crazy these days.

The " I'm free from Momma " who controls me, could be the case. The puffing of male muscles in a group setting confirms it. Glad you got out. Smart move.

I have never even met Indy, but would bet my last dollar he would NEVER act that way. I am from St Germain also and would like to know where this took place.

This happened at Sisters Saloon
In defense of the establishment . The food was good and the hot chocolate was hot.
The place was packed wall to wall
And who knows if they even new what was
Going on outside. I love the Saint Germain area
and always felt welcoming with no fears.
As stated trouble could be in any area
Thanks for all the replies and reassurance

this happened in upper Wisconsin Saint Germain area. Im also a FIB , im 53 and i would say they were mid 20's. it all started with when we pulled up and my girl was getting off the sled 1 foot on the ground and
the guy just missed hitting her. as i walked by i did say that was a **** move you almost hit her. Me an my girl continued to walk into the pub and had dinner , My girl noticed the 1 guy that almost hit her walked over to the helmet rack and did something but didnt know what , as she put her helmet on we seen he kicked the shield in an broke the mounting tab on the left side but it still closed. didnt think much about it an could not prove it . so as my sled is warming up the first guy that almost hit her and his two friends start with the dont move the sleds stuff and attempt to get me to engage them , They kept with you called my friend a name and i stated multiple times i said it was his actions and did not call him a name.. then i turned off the sled told my girl lets go back in the pub it was -28 out, they then stated no one is going back in . so again they are pressing me into a fight. then the 1 friend points at the plow banks about 12 foot high and goes thats you way out. . i said this is a gade 1200 its never going over that. well i made it up and down and took the sled down like a sub and was buried over the bars in snow. they all laughed an new i was really screwed, so i attempted to dig it out , all the time watching i dont get jumped. then finally the first guy that almost hit her said now look you need my help . i said yes i do and we would not be here doing this is you just let me leave. the good thing he did help pull on the ski loop while i walked it out on the running board. they then all walked away. my girl walked around and got back on the seat and i look for my gloves well you guessed it . they took them. so i tried to ride a few blocks and my hands are in poor shape i put them under the exhaust to get them back to temp and tried to ride again with with no luck . the pain was too much. then i remembered in my trunk i had a back up pair of thin gloves and that got me back the 45 min ride back to the room. . i must say ive been riding for 20 years and never had this ever happen and has really made me think, should you ride with a concealed carry for a case like this but no matter what that could of made matters worse. I know i will see them all again since they ride in the same area and i can tell this is not done on either side .

Good for you for being the adult in this situation. I'm about the same age as you and would not want to throwdown with 3 younger guys, but I do CC. If these ***bags decided to escalate the situation, they would know that I'm going to defend myself.

A couple years back we were at Vinchi's between Sayner and Star Lake, and a bunch of dudes parked so close to our sleds, we had to step on their running boards and move their ski's to get out.
We weren't parked in, but these guys were in the bar all liquored up in mid afternoon. I was just worried about someone hitting my sleds, being that close. Generally I try to stay away from the bars, especially at night.
If it were me in that situation, I would have forced myself back in the bar and called law enforcement.

So your solution is to just "punch your way out"? Come on, what are we, Cro-Magnon men? No wonder snowmobilers get a BAD rep.

I didn't really offer a "solution", simply a comment...even legal carry wouldn't help unless there was mention of serious bodily harm...that is unless YOU wanted to be the one in trouble

BTW, I DO have a CPL and...
