Thanks Sweep, I feel like I stayed on my schedule and checked off things to get done when I needed to. Last year was hectic getting dried in by November was a challenge. It all worked according to the plan I set in place so happy about that. And yes, grandkids are a lot of fun. Go Packers!

It’s been good, just took 8 days and went to lower Mi for an Octoberfest then Mackinaw Island. Have a little project going at my house also hope to be done in a week or so. I’m a little farther along then this pic but don’t have an updated pic. View attachment 70221
Nice Jim! I remember you mentioning a building last year, that’s a big one. It’s awesome to see when the trusses are in place and the scope of the building is visible. Love to see more pics!

Well, It's been two years since the major Garage build and I am now drywalling the upstairs room. Also, we just got our plans for the new addition back from the architect this week. Hopefully be starting in Spring of 2027 with the house build that will be attached to the garage.

Us garage/shop junkies always appreciate pictures. I spend a lot of time in mine, which is very low budget. But, I love seeing what others have.

Update, been doing drywall upstairs, have the ceiling done, will finish the lights this week and start on the far wall and then have to go get more drywall. Doing ceiling drywall, especially with a slight cathedral pitch is a pain even with a lift. The walls will be easier. IMG_4050.jpeg IMG_4053.jpeg

Don’t overdo it you have plenty of time to giter done. 👍
I know Pete, just had put it off so not it's a A list item. It will be done soon except for the wall closet to the lake becuase that wall is the one that will be attached to the new house. Our blueprints are all done for the new build, just looking for a builder to work with.

I think you are right about that Rev, but I'm looking for someone that I can work with, a smaller guy that knows what he is doing. I have a list of guys, just have to start the process to see where they are at.

I had a big issue finding someone to do a small project. Not a lot of $$. Very few of them even called me back.
