So I have been thinking about picking up a trail sled for those days when the backcountry isn't premo, or if I'm up there by myself. Price point was important, as was the sled, and I knew I wanted a Yamaha. I kept my eyes on Pat's Motorsports webpage patiently waiting for the right sled and...
The guys were getting after it starting Sunday. A breakdown right away delayed them a bit, but by Monday late morning they were rolling. Trail 3 from Twin Lakes to Toivola was done, and then they were doing 13 from Twin Lakes to the Sleepy river bridge. Lots of trees down and bent over, but they...
Makes me smile. 700 miles a week just for work, 510 ish every weekend if I head to the yoop. Will we fall under 2.00 a gallon in south central Wi? Hope so!
We were on vacation last week, and I needed a new cv boot for my Viking first thing Monday morning. Kip and Todd and Jerry took care of it right away! Great customer service as usual!
Were outstanding! I rented a viper for the day, and rode from Hancock, to eagle harbor, copper harbor, lac la belle, back to Hancock. 150 miles of excellence! Its been many years since I've been up there on a sled. Perfect!
Put 50 miles on yesterday. I stayed on trail 3, except for a little side jaunt to Penn Falls. About 9-12 inches on the ground, ground underneath is still soft.
Took the sleds up, and brought home the sxs. I put 1.5 miles on in Krupps field, so, my first ride this season occurred on November 4th. Hopefully its an epic winter!
Forgot about this lil sippy hole Saturday afternoon. After we got it out, my buddy stuck a branch in the hole roughly 7 feet long, and didn't find bottom. 70 feet of strap to a tree to anchor his quad, and he barely pulled me out. Lol.
