Just saw this...from Hurley Chamber :( Due to the unseasonably warm weather, all Iron County snowmobile and ATV trails are closed effective immediately. The trails will reopen when significant snow accumulates and they are again suitable for winter use.

I noticed the local club...had panned the Hiawatha (the rail rode grade that connects Tomahawk to the Bearskin)...I love it...when they have done this in the past...it helped the base set-up, and the base lasts far longer, with less rock coming through....the snow here has settle to between 8-11...

After shoveling and snow blowing...took the kids around the yard on the sled...it was nice to get a few laps in this early...14 inches here...my mother had nearly 24 inches just south of LDF...this is kinda unreal...it looks and feels like the end of DEcember here...not early november.

I was just curious if you guys think Yamaha will put the 850cc Crossplane Triple in a snowmobile?? I think ski-doo has hit a home run with their 900 ace....and I would think Yamaha would be wise to build a smaller triple 4 stroke, around 100 HP to cover the lower end of the market...I could see...

Have you noticed all the new products over the past 5 years to keep us snowmobilers warm?? Helmets are far superior to what I used to wear...no such thing as heated shields...I didn't know what handwarmers were until 1992....the jackets, and bibs are warmer, and lighter...the boots are also...

Anybody win...or know somebody who won the new el tigre's in that cat promotion....I think I registered at every cat dealer in a 100 mile radius...lol
