    Trailer repair????

Thanks for the update. I have a couple of misc. parts still needed to wrap up my trailer. Wasn't having much luck with my local Triton dealer. I might give them a call to see if they could ship out what I need. Good luck with the repairs, but sounds like you are in good hands.

    Trailer repair????

Couldn't agree more. The TC167 is the absolute best 2-place configuration trailer available in my opinion. They are awesome. Light, low profile and not super long or wide. As long as your sleds have reverse, why do you need a drive out v-nose making your trailer 3-4ft longer? Not to mention...

    Trailer repair????

Just to give you an idea... Last Summer my insurance (Progressive) quoted $7700 for total loss on my 2018 TC167. That's $2700 more than I paid for the trailer (used, like new). Feel like I robbed the guy based on what these things are going for now days.

    Trailer repair????

Adhesive is no joke, that’s for sure! And I’ll give it to Triton, they hit every. Single. Contact. Point. Didn’t miss a one!!!! But honestly not that bad to remove with a heat gun + putty knife. Had all 5 panels off in a hour. I was impressed enough with the adhesive that I paid out the butt...

    Trailer repair????

Regarding Triton helping with parts, etc. I contacted them directly several times. They will not sell you anything, but refer you to their certified dealers. They can also provide part#s on most parts. Regardless of what you do, you'll want the manual (attached) that has ALL of the part...

    Trailer repair????

Re-skinned my TC167 this past Fall due to hail storm. Love the trailer sooooo much, there was no way I was letting insurance total it out!!! New they are $10k+ now days!!!!! Only the side walls had significant damage. The panels I found on e-bay were a perfect match (.030 thickness, color and...

    New trucks

Seems a good deal in this new world is getting MSRP w/o markup. I'd never even step foot in a dealership that is doing market adjustments over MSRP. That is just shady as shit and taking advantage of the situation IMO. Just bought a new Explorer for the wife in November. Zero negotiating on...

    Problem with my 2006 rmk

Interesting. Had a 2008 600 RMK that did the same thing from time to time. Never did have it looked as it seemed to work the majority of the time. Watch some YouTube videos on how to start a sled via the primary just in case you need to do it. LOL!

    2015 Polaris Axys Skid Removal

Videos will get you most of the way. Honestly, the last time I pulled a skid (earlier this fall), I tried for the first time the "put the sled on it's side" technique and was absolutely surprised how much easier it made it! I have a hoist in the shop and previously had always tried to just...

    Where to buy gear?

Absolute best deals are at Hay Days. Yes, some vendors bring their latest and greatest, but if you walk around you can still find "last season" gear for super cheap at the right booths. Just takes some walking. Fly gear in particular you can find real cheap at the right booths. But that...

    Yellowstone Tour On Sleds

We rode Island Park / West Yellowstone area a few years ago. Two of our friends took a day and did the park tour. The others chose to keep riding the steep and deep outside the park. My opinion only, but the restrictions are kind of a racket (sounds like they are finally making some changes)...

    Triton Trailers Sold

COVID hit Triton hard (as it did most companies), but they seemed to really struggle. I've not seen a Mission config similar to the TC167, but maybe they do make one? The absolute best two place trailer configuration in my opinion. Hopefully they keep one in the line-up! Tritons price tag on...

    Triton Trailers Sold

Pretty sad to read in my most recent sled magazine (SnowGoer) that Triton Trailers got bought out by ALCOM Trailers. They already have: Mission, Sno-Pro, E-Z Hauler, Stealth, Frontier and CargoPro. My opinion only, but Triton stood above these others due to their smaller footprint and small...

    Closed helmets and prescription glasses.

Man. Tuff to admit it... But... I'm getting old! I typically wear contacts. Last week was the first ride of the season and couldn't read the damn phone screen!!! Kept putting it way out in front of my face, pulling it back in to try and focus. Granted it was getting towards the end of the...

Post Christmas --- Where are you riding?

Think we’ve decided on Two Harbors, MN area. Leaving in the morning if I can get these sleds pulled back together. It will be a late night wrenching. Lol!

Post Christmas --- Where are you riding?

    Late Season Trip out West

Have you checked with Togwotee Mountain Lodge. If anyone is still renting in April, I think it would be them. Big operation... Want to suck as much out of those rentals as they can. Might also check some of the places near West Yellowstone.

    Electric Snowmobile

Just saw on the news last night that the state of CA is BANNING ALL GAS LAWN EQUIPMENT by the year 2024. Yeah, I know it's CA, so take it for what it's worth. But I do fear that it's a sign of things to come.
