    Fat Tire Bikes...Anybody having issues with them?

    We encountered a Fat tire bike rider, on the Hiawatha trail (railroad grade north of Tomahawk) on Sunday.....the guy had the proper clothing, and lighting per Wisconsin state law...he was wearing a reflective shirt with big letters on it that said "you must give me 3 feet"....I stayed behind him...

    We ended up with 8 Plus inches of snow in the Tomahawk area from yesterdays storm....there is anywhere from 8-11 inches of new snow through out the northwoods...Riding should be excellent any direction you go from Tomahawk...some of the wet areas are freezing up, and are better than they have...

    If you see anybody doing this please report them...as the story says...this is a safety issue...especially for people un familiar with certain lakes...my guess is it's high school brats or ice fishermen (the last two times this has happened, that's who got caught)...

    Trails through out the area are in fair to good condition with a few rough spots and areas....the main railroad grade is actually pretty good...a little thin in spots...but we do have a nice ice base out there right now...a few of the wet spots south of town have frozen up nicely....the swamps...

    Went and packed a few swamps today

    Went out on the 17 corridor (south of Tomahawk)....packed a couple of the swamps...snow was deeper than I thought, and I will be cleaning coontails out of my grills for months...LOL...had a blast though...for first ride of the season.
