Just got back from Snowy's yesterday and had a great time. Unbelievable snow conditions. We had clear roads 98% of the way. First time posting pics, so we'll see here.

My question is related to sales tax. I plan to trade in a sled. In MI, they are telling me that I have to pay tax on the price of the new sled, not the difference of the trade in. Is this true? How about in IL? I purchased a truck recently in IL and only paid tax on the difference of the trade.

Has anyone watched BTR VII yet? I hope it is as fun to watch as the others. It is always fun to see people you've ridden with on video...

Why does this still have a cable? It would seem that this could be done as 'drive by wire' with the sensor in the handle bar and electronically connected to the computer. Less weight, fewer moving parts to break. Cars mostly use this technology now. Any thoughts?

Looking for recommendations on topography map for off trail riding in the snowy range, wyoming. any suggestions? waterproof paper maps, not really interested in CD.
