    Labor Day Weekend!

We spent the weekend in the Denver area. Saw Dierks Bentley at Red Rocks Saturday night, spent Sunday up in Rocky Mtn NP, went west of Denver up into the mtns on Monday, even saw some snow in spots. Funny thing is every mtn my friend and I were looking at we were discussing lines to take on...

    Hay Days

My son was the same way. He'd been riding my old 600 RMK for several years and kept saying it was underpowered, wanting to add a can, do this mod, do that mod, etc... but I kept telling him that it was my sled, not his, and he wasn't modifying it. Then we told him for his high school graduation...

    Hay Days

I think the Chicken Coop is $100 in the field and $120 in the woods for the weekend

    Hay Days

Century Power used to have great deals on last years KLIM gear. Bought a Valdez Jacket and pants one year for $160 each. Next year they had the same deal so I bought another set so I had gear at home and the cabin. Jackets are still in great shape, pants are getting chewed up around the bottoms...

    Hay Days

I have a friend who probably has 5 Klim jackets who said he's going to look for another this year. :) I bought some FXR boots a couple yrs ago that I'm not happy with. They keep my feet plenty warm but the left one leaks badly so that foot is always wet. Maybe I'll look for a new set. My son is...

    Hay Days

So, the annual call goes out. Who all will be attending Hay Days this yr? We'll be there for about my 30th straight yr with the exception of the Covid year. As usual we'll be camping over in the Chicken Coop Campground across the Hwy from the site. This year will be fun for us as my daughter is...

    Polaris Mutt Mod

Yea, they were thirsty. We'd roll into the gas stations with 3 2010 or newer RMKs and that little 500. We'd put 6-7 gallons in the RMK's and 8-9 gallons in that 500. Crazy but it out punched its weight class.

    Polaris Mutt Mod

The guy from work I sold it to said it has been running great for him. That sled was trouble free for us, gas and oil, all we did to it.

    When Karma Comes Calling

At one of our off site chassis lots we had people go down 2 different manholes, about 200 yards apart, and cut the cable and pull it through. Had to use a truck to pull it out as it was extremely heavy. We have them on camera as they did it about 7:00 PM and they had the safety vests on and...

    An Antique Farmall

We had a big buzz saw on the back of my dads also. You could cut a lot of wood in a hurry but OSHA would not approve!

    An Antique Farmall

I've got a 1952 Ford 8N. Not looking quite as nice as this one but still looking good. I've had it for close to 25 years now and I have a brush hog and a back blade for it. I really don't use it much, probably less than 10 hrs/year, but it still works fine. Hydraulics drift a bit on it...

    New John Deere x590

Wow, I'm GREEN with envy! I have a 1998 LX188 that I use to mow and blow snow. It has the 18 HP Kawasaki and still runs like new, just doesn't look like new anymore.

First camp trip of the year this weekend!

Larsmont is a great spot. Good food and very nice cottages to rent. We do a strategic planning session up there yearly for work. The north shore is awesome, we love it up there but you are pretty isolated in spots. It is still one of the considerations for where we end up.

First camp trip of the year this weekend!

The first move will just be to the cabin full time. Still working for another 611 days but who's counting? So I'll just commute to work while my wife works fully remote. Hopefully by then we'll have decided on a long term location. The move to the cabin is aimed to accomplish a couple of goals...

Well I will be riding Christmas to New Years

Have you been out on it yet?? What type of range are you getting? Reviews I'm seeing is that its significantly less range than something like the Trek Rail with the bigger battery/motor and quite a bit less "oomph" than it also. I usually don't ride more than 15 miles at a crack on my current...

First camp trip of the year this weekend!

Our first one isn't until Fathers day weekend but after that we have one for Kakabekka Falls in Thunder Bay and Hay Days of course. Going to be a busy summer with selling the house and getting moved so hopefully we'll get some more planned.
