Well done! I am at just under 1,600 miles for the year. 1200 in da Yoop and 300 something in WI. Nothing around home though. Me and Fuji had a real treat when we were up. Never seen da Yoop so white. Beautiful!!
Hey John, is this the saddest end of January forecast streak you have had?? El nino is kicking butt eh? Last year started like this but it really cranked up about this time. Is the future bleak for us snow lovers??
Tens miles into today's ride my temp gauge started going crazy. Called Pat's and Jerry said get it here. They robbed a temp sender off a different sled to get me going. Half hour later the 850 was back and me and Fuji ended up with a 300 mile day!! Awesome!! Hancock to Iron River...
Didn't leave till noon today because Fuji thought we should act like 30 year olds last night... Lol. Went north today. Met 3 groomers and only a dozen sleds. Thinking of going east tomorrow. Hope they are trying as hard as the boys up north. Tough job with the temps right now. Thanks to all!
Have been told by 3 different groups now to not even unload my sled. Is it that bad? Supposed to cool off a bit so maybe it will help? Are they grooming and they just don't set up or did they stop grooming? Sitting at the Ramada wondering if it was worth the trip....
I don't know how when the high temp is forecasted to be 21 that there can be talk of "mixed precip" for the storm tomorrow?? However you make no mention of it in your forecast. Is that just because you don't want to be that specific or are you not seeing that chance? Just been through this...
Ya dad has a 67' bright red gta convertible that he has had since I was 10 years old. This week (Thanks Fuji!!!) he put this in the stable as well. Do not take one for a test drive!! Its even turning this bowtie guy into a blue oval lover!!! That 5.0 is a SCREAMER!!! Just the exhaust tone...
I know the conditions from the past on 109 where less than fun. The first half from Twin Lakes is a LOT of fun but then you get to the other half and its terrible. Wet and rough. Heard something of a mention of a re-route this year. Any truth to it? Who can tell me if its worth riding or not??
I did that once. 2012 Pro R 800. Motor comes out. Lots of heating. Big job. Probably good that I did that job because this is what I found while trying to pull the clutch...
As much as my house spoils me it was a treat to stay there. Just to get up early to visit with Don and harvest nanceys wonderful breakfast!!! I wish her well! Oh and just for fun
Hey man I was with you!! It was double doink night!! When you find a deal on a skidoo you should let me know. Would like to have something to compare my 19 XC 850 to. Thats what I will be riding!!
Someone just brought up a thread from 2015 that you started in 2010. Who is this guy on the first post??? https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=82787
I remember this journey. They kicked you out of the garage and then the "sled shed" was constructed. Amazing what 10 years...
Our club has to wait for the crops to be harvested before a majority of our trails can be signed/brushed. Not to mention opened. With this weather there is going to be alot of corn standing until spring. The challenges these farmers are facing just keep stacking up. The weather is always a...
Yep its the Bond falls. I would like to be there sometime when the alarm goes off!! LOL. The power company I believe (frnash???) spent most of the money building that park. The steps along the south side are pretty neat. Get up close to the action!! Can you guess where this is?
